Factory Soloing

Now I apologize to anyone if you've already gotten this topic a million times. I looked for it and couldn't find a topic on this. Now with that said, I'll move on:

I Went crazy soloing buildings last night to build up my lure. I eventually got the Level 5 Lure, which allows me to carry 10 Blue Magnets. I have 105 laff and a maxed throw and a raincloud that does 69 or 70. Well, I went in the side entrance, because it saves me a battle . I didn't have the problem I thought I would. I thought I would run out of lures. I ran out of powerful gags. I had only the whole cream pie's left and hoses when I got to the center silo. Also, I see some toons lose only about 30 laff. I had 19 laff points before the center silo. Well, you factory soloer's, I could use your help. I need some help, tips, or advice. Post em, and I'll be grateful.

To solo a factory you have to use the supplies you find in the factory. I dont have lure, and I can still solo a short run. Whats important is to use the gags and toonups you find in the factory. The supplies at front entrance, by side entrance, the lava room, and the paint room.

If you find yourself running out of gags or LP, go and refill.

welp, i solo'd a couple of times, and even attempted to do a full run solo, how boring it is!! (i couldnt do a full run solo)

It is much more fun with at least 1 other toon, be it a low laff or otherwise. Anyway, the side entrance is a good start, and the thing to remember is to stock your gags differently. You won't need any toon-up, but save 1 or 2 just in case you meet someone else on the way. and sound won't do you any good for the most part, except to blow away a cog that should have died but didnt and there are other cogs that about to become un-lured (i guess they wake up, right?) so, bring only a full compliment of your maxxed sound, if you have it.

1st battle, use a foghorn, or lure, then use a yellow cream pie for the strongest and the brown pie for the others. Run past the skelecogs, don't fight them! go into the warehouse, lure the cogs, use a yellow pie on the left most cog, and he wont die. Use squirt to take him out. Take out the next left most cog the same way, then use the raincloud on the mover and shaker. he should jump back and die.

after you beat the warehouse, i would go to the paint mixer and regag, however, im kinda fuzzy on the exact way there ( i know the lava room is behind the stompers so you can try that too)

anyway, you should have at least 80 or 90 laff after regagging and tooning up from the barrels (or not). I try to save at least 1 storm cloud and all three bday cakes for the silos. If lure hits, then I usually only get hit once per battle. I use a bday cake for the strongest of each fight, and the storm cloud for the next strongest, and a yellow and brown pie for the last.

the last fight, simply pray lure doesnt miss, cause if it does you are jacked. then hit the skelecog with your bday cake, then the yellow pie. after the skelecog, all is fair game, just don't go wily-nily and wake up all the cogs at once.

have fun!

There are many, many posts about soloing the factory. I dug up my old guide to it by simply doing a search for 'solo factory'. There were 4 pages of results!

~>Guide to soloing the factory<~

Soloing the factory is generally pretty easy if you know how to conserve gags, use the lure bonus to your advantage, and use it for the right reasons at the right times.

I do not solo for parts because of the ROR factor of such a run (risk of ruin). Do a solo just for the fun of it, to look for specific sell bots for tasks, or for merits (since finishing isn't required).
