Angry This made me really mad!

Well, the other day after i got all my merits, i was going to go see if anyone would help me defeat the VP. There were about maybe...12 high leel toons and 3 intermediate level toons. so i got on with 7 other toons, all of them had 90+ lp, and the wouldnt go with ONE SINGLE LONE 54 laffer!! I didny know how i could hert, with only 1 toon under 90+ laff on the elevator, but it seemed to really bug them. It got REALLY annoying! Thisis the meanest thing thats ever happened to me in toontown but its all over now, but im still really mad!

Hi KingKrod!

You were the 54LP? Sorry you had to experience this. When I was a Cold Caller 1, I only tried to go with a random group once (I was at 94LP, but they still didn't want me in there - being in a Cold Caller suit). Then I heard about the Cold Callers Guild. It's a great, friendly group of toons who go on scheduled VP runs and always welcome Cold Callers as well as lower LP toons. You can read more about us here: http://www.toontowncentral.com/forum...splay.php?f=51 . There is always a good mix of mid-level and high-level toons, as well as inexperienced and experienced toons, and we have a high success rate due to great teamwork.

If you feel you'd like to go on a run with us, be sure to read the stickies in the Cold Callers Guild forum (link above), especially the "Cold Caller's Guild Training Guide" for our rules (such as NO elevator shuffling) and "So you want to join the Cold Callers Guild!" to introduce yourself.

Good luck in the future!

I dont think anybody will be willing to take a 54 laff point up there. I know they shouldn't have been so mean to you but I think you should work on upgrading your laff points and gags before going up there because it is pretty tough there.

Yep, with all those high laffers they could certainly have taken him through.

Doesn't anyone around here like a challenge at all? Not that one mid laffer is much of a challenge...
but c'mon, if all the toons are 100 laffers the vp battle get's kinda boring.

Thank you PrincessRainbowDandyfoot, and again to the CCG! A challenge is the best part of this in VP. I had so much fun, I am Tike Toon with 24 laff, but don't under-estimate one playing skills, bye their laff or gags. When it comes to battling the VP it takes Teamwork, everyone needs to work together.

I am amazed at how many are so quick to judge just because of the level of gags, laff, or what suit they are in.

I play to have fun, and I am so pleased to have the privilage to play with so many that like the challenge of having some low laff toons with them.

Tiki Toon is maxed on Throw and Squirt, and over 7000 on her juggle.
*I have to do the math, and if I pass it is to make it throw assisting with the larger cogs* usually the others I am in with, understand this. I want to help as much as possible.

Have fun, and play as a team, it is so worth it!

When Tiki made it in that VP battle, I owe it to the Awesome Teamwork of each and everyone of you. That was my frist time doing VP with her, and honestly I was not going to do VP at all, but a friend in the CCG ask me to come, and needless to say, You all ROCK! What a wonderful Experience.

If you have not tried the CCG, please try it, make sure you read up on how they work, the rules, etc. You will find it is a wonderful experience.

Enjoy Toontown

Sorry all, but I need to go with my instincts...

IMHO I think you will find the VP Extremely hard, as well as stressful more so then a person with higher laff points. if you were to go in with 70 laff points, I Could see you doing a better job. of course you could have maxx gags, but when it comes down to it, if those 4 11 cogs decided to go after you (and it does happen even if you aren't the highest attacker). you will die at the laff level you are currently at:

Yes, There is a post above for the CCG, and that is probobly your best bet, I'd take you if I was there, personally, I was ditched in the elevator 5 times in one night as a laff 102 with lvl 5-6 gags! why? because of a low 35 laff, who had max cake and squirt!

so IMHO, wait. it's alot stress for you, you won't have to worry about some one TU'ing you up all the time, and you won't have that fear of cogs going AWOL on you, and killing you. I'm not saying you can't. but I am warning you, if you go outside of the CCG chances are you'll find more heartache because of your Laff points, so go with the CCG, because some of the high lvl cogs that don't belong to these forums or the CCG will simply just toss you in the elevator and ditch you...

Are you a holly 50 yet? I mean you are one that is very quick to judge others just from some bad experiences. Don't be so quick to judge others. Your Quote "so IMHO, wait. it's alot stress for you, you won't have to worry about some one TU'ing you up all the time, and you won't have that fear of cogs going AWOL on you, and killing you." Wow that is very judgemental! I have great friends that want me to go in VP, and I know that the chances of going sad are high, but as others say..... It is a game, have fun, and enjoy it. I am not stessed out over this, I plan on playing and having fun, and those that do not want to do VP with me, that is their choice... but to be honest, the Toons I have played with even outside of VP love it. I can help them out just as much as they help me.

Enoy playing ToonTown, and treat others as you would like to be treated yourself!

Cheers,

Tiki Toon

Blue, don't make this go the worng way... o_0... she's only doing this to help someone who has the toontask help a toon under 50 laugh defeat the VP... she's didn't become a super-n00b because she had a WHOLE alot of time on her hands... besides, she's probally done VP more than 3 times....

Alsom the part about the toss you in the elavator and ditch, I saw a ton of toons go in with a toon that had maxxed gags when he only had 30 laugh.

I think that would be for each individual to decide. You might find it stressful, someone else might get a big kick out of trying. And so what if you go sad? You probably still had some fun, and you might feel good about having tried. Besides that you can always learn from mistakes (even other toons' mistakes) and will go in more prepared next time.

If someone feels they're ready to go, then they should go. The Cold Callers Guild tries to get a good mix of toons on one elevator, so it won't break everyone if a couple of mid-laffers are with them.

wow! some of you guys are vicious...

oh TiKi...you posted...

Are you a holly 50 yet? I mean you are one that is very quick to judge others just from some bad experiences. Don't be so quick to judge others. Your Quote "so IMHO, wait. it's alot stress for you, you won't have to worry about some one TU'ing you up all the time, and you won't have that fear of cogs going AWOL on you, and killing you."

Am I a holly? Does it matter? Should it matter? No I am not, I am a lvl 7 Mover and Shaker.

Wow, if in your terms caring for another toons well being is being judgemental then I'll continue to be judgemental

I'll thank you not to warp my words any more then you have. for you to call me judgemental is not only a serious folly on your part, it's just plain RUDE! how do you expect me to give my opinion or advice not based on my expierences? Lie? make-up a story? please tell me, I'm oh-so-confused

I can not see why you are accusing me of being judgemental, as I'm sure I said...

I'm not saying you can't. but I am warning you, if you go outside of the CCG chances are you'll find more heartache because of your Laff points, so go with the CCG, because some of the high lvl cogs that don't belong to these forums or the CCG will simply just toss you in the elevator and ditch you...

I'm not being judgemental, it's the simple truth, there are those who will try to get a person onto an elevator then jump off, I'm sorry if you feel I'm telling some horror story, but it's plain fact!

Jamie...

you said

I think that would be for each individual to decide.

I believe I said...

I'm not saying you can't

listen, stop trying to warp my words okay? I'm not here to be mean, and I'm not here to be judgemental, I am only here to care, and help. if you feel that I am wrong in helping and caring for low-mid-high-whatever laff! then I don't want to be right

hi

I just want to add that sometimes we go in with 7 and come out perfectly fine. My point is another toon wouldn't hurt at all even if he/she don't have the laff points others do.

hey i dont mind takeing little guys in the vp battle but man you need to know it makes it EZ'er to fight in the vp with all 100 i love having all 100's in there it doesn't get boring it makes it a hole **** of alot funner. it makes it just a little harder to have you throw a pie while i have to toon up vica, verca. so when you have 100's in there one person toons up then everyone else hits him with the horns and big drop. i know that it isnt the 100's that have only hight lvl guys i found a couple of 70's and 80's with maxed gags. but they do need the higher gags and laff to make it a little easyer to battle-not to be mean dude.

it gets me mad when i get ditched

i have 3 toons, all with great gags and 100+ laff, the only problem with having a low or midlaffer in the elevator with me is that as soon as one jumps on everyone else jumps off!!!!! as if having 1 mid laffer will make us go sad..... get real. i have to admit i hate to see a low or mid-laffer comming because i know there will be an elevator shuffle (elevator shuffle bites) i always end up taking the ride alone. to all the low and mid laff toons out there I WOULD RATHER DO VP WITH YOU THAN WITH THE HIGH-LAFFERS THAT WONT GO WITH YOU!!!
you all make it a challenge and more fun! most of you choose your gags carefully and work together alot better. come join us on a ccg run, we will make it fun for ya
