Sorry FF, just keeping the air clean so to speak. Can't be too careful these days or someone (not you) comes and puts words into your mouth.

If everyone would just play the game their way and not be rude to other players who are trying to do the same, we would not have a whole lot to argue about up here.

I have nothing against you FF. If Baron needed a run and you were looking for the same thing, I would have no problem going along with you. I have waved with Sam, but would not force him on you. That is where others on here have misquoted me. I will not force my lower toon on anyone either in the factory, or VP. I do not deserve to be called names for just being around those areas.

I would force my little Toon on them

Hey, its friday and I'm waiting for the end of the work day so while I would normally keep my mouth shut about sensitive subjects like this I am going to put my view in. I would force myself on a group in the VP lobby. If it is a big mass of toons and I dont have any friends on or they arent ready for VP yet I'll play the elevator shuffle. When Im on one of my lower laff toons ill jump on the elevator. If everyone jumps off I'll jump off and jump back on. If I get cought in the "Trap" ill alt-f4 and come back in. Now I wouldnt crash an organised group where 8 Toons come in and want to go together, if its just a big mass of lone Toons I figure I have just as much right on that elevator as anyone. I dont care who jumps off and calls me names if there are at least 6 toons when the elevator doors close I'm happy.

If I knew you were waving for assistance, I would have asked you to come along. If that was your intention, next time feel free to join us with sam.
If you don't ask, ill let you have it in this forum. I like to play with experienced players, the laff of sam is not important to me.

A classic example of why the elevator shuffle continues! Usually one toon who doesn't care about everyone else high or low.

All of the times I have seen you to date, either you were looking for something else or I was with someone. I have waved just to say hi

Wink And so the frustration continues

Hee Hee, I could say the same about anyone that cares about High or low, they are the reason the shuffle continues. If a large group of lone or nearly lone toons is really picky about who they go with. Looking back on this thread thats been the whole argument. "If toons I dont want to go with wouldnt get on elevator we wouldnt have a problem" (paraphrasing)

About high toons with low gags- I saw a 98 laffer with level 3 squirt and level 5 throw the other day.. My 27laffer is nearly 5 squirt &5 throw already.

I always try to conserve my gags and use the lowest possible that’s effective. They probably all think I stink before the skelecog round. at 63lp I've needed very few "extra" tune ups, probably alot less than you would think.

As for contribution, I'll bet the long term players making these toons can contribute as much as the average 80's -100LP player. Having seen it from both sides, a high gag low laff is more valuable than a 90's laff average gag toon.
Good point doc quackenheimer. I've become accustomed to conserving gags playing my big toons (or otherwise just hooning around). But you are right. Playing a big gag early would signal to team mates to re-evaluate their assumptions. I'm going to explore this strategy.

Just dont do it if you have a group of four high cogs that are being lured.
I used a cake today to try to cover someone trapping a 12 with a 60 point trap. The lure missed and the cogs all targeted me. You can guess the result. I'm going to change my strategy too, and not use my biggest gags to try to make up for others choices.
