Very nice.
Do you have any advice for our LP challenged friends who find themselves (perhaps uninvited) on an elevator with a group of merit impaired toons who don't wish to double the time it takes to accumulate 5,500? Captain Chunky Crunchycrumbs 104 LP Mr Hollywood level 13 42/50/Gold (need the All-Star, Old King Crab, Full/Crescent/??? Nice post! You do have more patience then I would, but love the message! This is more like what I have seen from those larger toons who have been maxed for so long that there are not many ways to keep things from being so boring as to want to stick a fork in your own eye. This is exactly why I love to help lower toons. It is more interesting, challenging, and rewarding! Way to go!

I've learned to never get on an elevator (Building or factory, BTW) without asking someone if they need help, or "Shall We Go?", or if someone asks "One More?" I hate to see an elevator with an open spot, but I also hate to be the one to break in on a group unwanted. The only comment I would add, is it works better if the toons on the elevator respond to such a request. I can accept a No, or I'm Sorry, or even an It's too risky for you, but some type of response is nice. BTW, it's easier if you can ask BEFORE people actually board the elevator, and actually I do get a yes more often than not, so for us LP-challenged toons, don't be afraid to ask!Once on, unfortuntately, I guess they can't speedchat me a link to their forum thread, with rules for behavior, so I go in assuming I'm being tolerated, and try to earn their welcome. I've seen some toons who hop on an elevator with me, then act like it was their idea in the first place... Have a Nice Day!

I would give them the same advice I would give any laff toon. If you go into an elevator with two or three other toons, you are going to play their game. If you are a lower laff and get on the elevator with a group doing a quick run go along for the ride, get your part and don’t run with them again. How about this?? Many times I have been without friends running the factory with strangers trying to get parts, only to find they need merits. So I end up doing a merit run for my part. Would any high laff toon run to the playground because they did not want to run full factory for parts? I think the answer would be no. So what is the difference in helping a low laffer along the way? Yellow Horse, I do not know you or many other people on this board. I can assure you that this subject will not brother you in 10 or so more runs. You will be begging for a change to what you are about to experience and you will find you are able to get your merits just as quick as the first time you ran for 5500. As a member of the Cold Callers Guild I find I am able to run the factory for parts and merits (5500 at a time) and still make around three runs a week with the group. Funny story. As you can see I have two toons. One day I was in the VP lobby with Jr. Never made it off the platform. Was only there to whisper Cog Talk to a friend because he just got his suit. MidSuit toon tells me “…to risky for you” “please go away”, etc… Remember, I was not there to run the VP, did not even make it off the platform. So I leave and get Sr. Walk in and stand on the platform. This same toon tells me “lets go”, “no problem” and “hurry”. Point, you never know who is behind the toon. This toon would not take my lower laff in the VP, but yet he wanted my high level Hollywood to help him? Bottom Line - you get what you give. What are you giving?? Let me close with this. While our style of playing is different, I do not believe there is anything wrong with the way you play (other then letting a toon go sad because he stepped on the switch). Those that do not like your style will not play with you. Those that do not like my style will not play with me. Heck, if we were all the same what fun would that be?? Have fun, be nice, help other toons, NEVER let a toon go sad, and beat the VP!
