They're sharing what they experienced just as you did. Bashing or attacking
would be when someone has it out for someone else as an agenda (doesn't
like them personally or whatever). Like I said, many of the people who posted
negative experiences don't even know each other, so there is no conspiracy here.

Fortunately everyone can read all these accounts (good and bad) and form
their own opinion. I appreciate your positive remarks, as I'm sure others do
too, but let's not place labels or assume the motives of others whose
experiences differ with yours. They weren't IMO attacking or bashing, any
more than you were canonizing them

I will say that if a toon is bumming a ride through the factory and refuses to
contribute I am not concerned with them. They are just like any other toon
standing on the sidewalk during a street battle. I don't owe this type of toon anything. I will try to encourage him/her to join the battle but if they haven't by the time we kill the warehouse cogs, too bad!!!! I will not stomp the light
thingys. My friends and I will just run to the door and toon each other up during the next battle. This being said, I still do not use any "you stinks" on
these toons either.

I have a sf that is 13 years old and, lets just say, I am older than that. He was trying to get me to be mean to a toon in the factory and I would not do it. He asked me when we were done why I was nice. If a toon tries to help, I am going to help that toon!!! I am an adult and without being sf with a toon I have no way of knowing what age person I am dealing with in a battle. I have been shocked before after I have made sf's with toons. There are some 10 and 13 year olds out there that play better and more maturely than some of the 35+ sf's I have had. I have to remember that there are young
children playing this game and make sure my behavior is suitable. I have come back from answering the phone and my 2 year old will be running me
around in circles and once or twice he has actually run me into the street!!!
He has gotten some "you stinks". It wasn't Szlin that was telling him that, however, I am sure with as many "you stinks" that she has put out there, that she has yelled at some young children. So, Szlin, while you are running around toon town thinking you are the mayor of it, remember, there are children playing that need help to get better. Everyone makes stupid mistakes and seeing that you are SOOO good, you should be able to help correct these toons mistakes. Also, before you push the " you stink" phrase next time, imagine a cute little kid sitting at the computer trying to have some fun.

I'm sure she & Scott are decent people IRL. But if someone made me go sad in a game, why would I want to get to know them? LOL. Why would the other 3 toons want to either when they saw the reaction she gave to the other toon? I'm sure, if you got to know the toon who went sad, you'd see he/she wasn't such a bad person themselves either.

It's very easy to be nice to your friends. They're your friends after all.

I don't think people really have a problem with the fact that she made a toon sad that was bossy. I mean, I've done the same thing. I'll admit that. A lot of us have. It's the way that it was done is where I have a problem with it. 1) She put everyone on her side of the cogs at risk by pulling out bike horns just to get her point across. 2) From the facts that was given from BOTH sides, it seems she didn't really have the intention of deducting a few laff points & then tooning him/her up. She intended on making him/her go sad. 3) It's just the way things were phrased this toon "deserved" to go sad. She was going to " I wanted to see her learn a lesson about proper behavior" because she "takes to bossing a toon at 107 around and what to pick". I dunno, makes it seem like she's going to do whatever she wants to whomever she wants & she doesn't care if anyone else gets upset in the process, just to prove her point & get where she wants to be. If you wanna play that way, that's fine by me. But don't expect that a lot of people are going to be happy about it either.

they dont think the person they killed was bad they just do it for fun they might think that person should be in toon town central or whatever area they are in and build up to atleast 80-90 laff everybody had to do that at one point or another and plus you are acting like they are the devil when they are not there is only one devil and thats the fish devil ray.

They make people go sad for fun? That's an even bigger shame. On the internet they call those people "greifers". Now if they did something TO you, I'd say you'd have something as a basis for getting rid of the toon. But doing it just because they're low-laffers....As I've said before, if you're so confident that you can make it through the VP without their help, what's the problem of taking people in that are low laffers? If they went sad on their own, that's their business. But to cause a toon to go sad, just because you don't believe they should be there. Thank goodness they have the people like Cold Callers Guild & bigger toons who help smaller toons.

So it's the "everybody else is doing it, so I can to" defense? Try being different from everyone else once in awhile. It makes you stand out more.

Anyway, I've said my peace. I'm done with this thread. I want to say, nobody, I mean nobody, has to take my advice or anyone else's. Nobody has to care what I say or anyone else. Play how you want. As peaches said, have fun....just try not to hurt toons on the way.

HOWEVER....that being said, I just hope you can appreciate the advice some people have given when the shoe's on the other foot.

It's not about the fact that they acheived such a great accomplishment fluffy. It really isn't. I'm sure there are LOTS of toons out there that have the same, if not higher accomplishment. It's the way people were treated trying to get there.

As far as you not saying that EVERYBODY else was doing it...has your mom ever said "So if somebody jumped off a bridge, would you do it too?" That means just because someone else does it doesn't mean you should do it, too. Think of how you'd feel if someone purposefully made you go sad & you were helping & trying all you could. THAT is what this discussion is about. Anyway, I think all that COULD be said HAS been said. Everyone can make up their own mind from the details of this thread. If you wish to discuss it further, I suggest PM's.
