WHAT?! How come when I tell them "You stink!" they almost always retaliate against me? I think they're pretending NOT to understand, but they really do. I talk to them all the time. But they're not really that responsive. I think they're just shy.

Szlin and Scott

Congratulations Szlin and Scott on making 108 and Level 40 Hollywood. It’s a shame that there is such a negative clouding your accomplishments. I've known you two for a long time now and have always admired (and continue to admire) your skills and accomplishments in this game. In my opinion, you guys are without a doubt amongst the most skilled players in this game.

I've done many factory and VP runs with both of you, and have always enjoyed our times together. Our runs have always been filled with fun and laughter. Have toons gone sad along the way? Sure they have. Was it intentional? I'd have to say "No" to that. At that level, the goal is to get through the factory runs as quickly as possible and move on to the next VP battle. So.. if a lower toon comes along and we happen to miss with our gags, then there is a chance that the lower toon(s) will not be able to sustain a hit and go sad. Like it or not that is part of the game.

I will not comment on the specifics of the VP run in question here, as I was not present. But knowing Szlin, I will say this.... I have no reason not to believe her account of the story. It’s been my experience (even with my new lowbie toons before she knew about them) that she is a nice toon.

I've never seen a "You Stink" out of her in a first strike attack on another toon. I'm sure at her level she gets lots of that from other toons (and I do as well) when others ask to be friends and you just simply can't accommodate every toon that asks. At some point or another, you can only take so much of the kind of abuse. I'm sure that most people who post here have run into that at one time or another.

I think WizardHawk said it best when he stated that if you have a problem with Szlin and Scott, then just don’t go in the elevator with them. They both have plenty of friends that will gladly go with them (me included) and its no great loss if you choose not to.

Bashing them is not going to resolve any controversies at all. Lets just play the game the way you like and have some fun doing it. I play this game because I enjoy it and if I happen to run into toons that I’m not happy about playing with, then I will simply not play with them again. It’s as simple as that.

As for you quest for level 50 Hollywood, I’ll be happy to help whenever possible.

you did. If you cannot handle the fact that several people, many who don't

It sure wasn't "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Was more like : "He who has the gold, makes the rules".

If you have had bad experiences with these people before, I'm not sure why you entered the VP with them. If you didn't, you were quick to judge.

Loosy, with all due respect, I purposely chose not to comment on any specific remarks by other toons because I feel that everyone is entitled to their opinion. I was merely stating my experiences with the said toons. If you'll notice, I made no mention of anyone else's specific experience with these toons. Did I mention anything in regards to my taking exception to another's comment/opinion? I think not! So, I don't know where you got that I cannot handle differing opinions.

If you don't like my choice of words for describing what I perceive as "bashing", then so be it. I was not attempting to offend anyone here. I'm just merely stating my experience with Szlin and Scott.
