a possible solution to the low laffer problem?

okay all, First off. on the record I just want to say, that I usually don't have a problem with low lps toons. but I do have a problem with those that sit there like a bump on a log that expect me or my friends to pull them through. so I was thinking of a way, to make sure that these toons who will only battle the foreman to get the part, a way to fix this.

Now, I know this really isn't a fool proof system. but I think it'll help quell alot of problems. and force these lower level toons to battle or they wont get the part.

My solution:

Why confine the foreman to the centre silo? or make him a skelocog?

the way I see it, if every new factory run the foreman changes positions in a battle, but it's not as obvious as it is now (the lvl 4 at the front entrance could be the foreman). you'd have to fight all the cogs in the factory firstly, which means a bit longer of a run.

but the positives are out there. a lvl 15 can't sit there and play dumb. they have to get into the battle, because they don't know which one is the foreman. and also, because they have to go through 35 cogs, they may run out of gags. or even (yea drastic part) go sad. which results in some reality check that maybe they aren't ready.

of course the factory could still be the same. but I see 2 ways it could end:

A: once you get the secret foreman battle it's over there. which could mean shorter runs. or very long ones
B: you still need to get to that centre silo to pull that main switch. so familiarity.

I hope you like this idea!! give me some feedback!

Do you mean, make the Foreman like a "Mystery Cog" that they have to find? Or do you mean just put him somewhere besides the center silo? I'm not sure I completely understand...sorry.

Usually what I do if a 15 laffer or really ANYONE expects to mooch off of me is I don't let them. I can play the waiting game longer than them. If someone is not doing their part, I have no problem letting them go back to the playground. Even if it's just a cupcake, as long as they help, I will help them. If someone sits there like a bump on a log, I will too.

If I see a pattern of not choosing a gag or passing, what I do is the following while the timer runs down.

I say "Which way?" "Shall we go?". If they choose nothing, I choose nothing. If it happens again...same thing...."Shall we go?" Then I do the bored emotion. If they don't choose again, I'll say something like "Ok" "I like this game!". Usually after that they start screaming for a toon up & I'll say "Let's use throw." "Let's use squirt" "Can you help me?" Anyway...you get the point. Either they play with the team, or they leave.

what you do is u take the noob to the silos and let him join a battle himself that way when he loses you dont have to fight that silo you can just push the button.

yes, What I mean is a hidden cog, any of them in the factory are fair game to be a foreman!

also, since Fat hector mega brought this point up:

what you do is u take the noob to the silos and let him join a battle himself that way when he loses you dont have to fight that silo you can just push the button.

That might not work in this system, considering you might have just chased the foreman away so it forces YOU to fight as well, and not seek revenge on those that do nothing
