to collect on your merits you need too get the whole cog suit by defeating the factory 10 times then fight sell bot cogs till it says ready for a promotion then you have too go fight the VP after you have defeated him you have earned your 2nd lvl cog suit. i had to find this out the hard way i asked 50 time how do i collect on my merits and no one would tell me anything more than you need to fight in the factory. so i hope this helps all you new or lost toons like me...
