New tasks for HQ
Here are some sreen shots of some of the new tasks I was offered today. The rewards vary, the one I posted shows helping a 50 or under laff for a flat portrait, I think, but there was another that offered a reward of 500 jb's for same task.
The update says you can't leave the factory so bailing is no longer a fairly harmless way to clear the elevator jam. Personally, I think the elevator shuffle will just get worse. I took my 53 laff (boo hoo, too big now) to the factory to get tickets from the Glad Handers. I was "cold shouldered", told it was too risky, "You Stink" and bailed on by toons with 80+ laff and decent gags. BTW, the 100+ laffer I got "stuck" with on the elevator, suggested at first that we go back to the playground. I told him what I needed and he said, "Lets go for it." He helped me get them by picking up the cogs in the Duct room. He was working on 10k merits, another mute point here, and I really appreciate his attitude. But, FYI, by the time we got through the factory, 23 cogs later, I didn't have a killing gag in my bag and only a couple lure left. Can't wait to go again now that there are double merits.

Laffers
I don't mind taking the 20ish and up to the factory. The only problem I have with taking them is that they don't appreciate how difficult a vp run is. I have found quite a few 50ish laffer with low gags trying to force their way onto the vp elevator. I have even seen 24 laffers in cog suits.
I actually saw a toon with 45 laffs and absolutely NO gags trying to get a group to go on the vp elevator with him. I have stopped going in the factory with lower toons just for that fact. If you want to take the really low toons into the vp battle it's up to you, but low laffers need to understand that we aren't all going to be happy to see them in the vp lobby. |

The tasks go both ways. My 53 laff toon was offered tasks that included a new look for defeating the VP.

So even if you're a XX laffer, you can get a reward for defeating the VP?

I think the JB rewards are pretty nice, espeicially that 60 cogs= 1200 Jb..thats really nice!
