Question HQ Questions

I have been wondering about the next HQ they are bringing out. Do you think you will have to Max your cog in the sellbot HQ before you can start on the next HQ? I guess they would not do that to us, but on the good side it would prevent smaller toons from getting in.

Also, my mom (peaches poodleboom) has gotten to Mr. Hollywood 12 and was really bummed that NOTHING HAPPENS. Was it dumb of us to think that something would happen. A reward mabye? Do you think there is going to be a reward for completing all four HQ?? If there is no reward of anykind then what is the point of getting to the top besides other toons gasping at the MR. HOLLYWOOD 12. LOL I fail to see the point. Any thoughts??

Well to me its sort of pointless. It is after all a very easy game designed to be completed by very young players. In that light it actually takes alot of work to achieve Holly lvl 12. I doubt if the game designers will force anybody to get to a certain level before they can do the next HQ. They way it looks from toon town news they are going to make it so it gets easier for lower LP toons to get to HQ. What they will try to do is make it part of an elder task, I just hope they give high LP toons the option not to take it if they want, and not penalize them with no Laugh boost if they dont want to do that.

I allways thought that the ability to TP to the COG playground would have been a fine reward for making Holly 12.

I have a question. I read some where that inthe lavapit or the paint room you can earn jelly beans and gaga? Can you really get jelly beans and gags there? I have made many trips through factory but have never gone to either place.

There are several places you can earn free stuff in the factory, with the lava room being the best place for it. You have to go across the bridge over the lava pit and when you get to the room at the end of the bridge there you will find lots of barrels of stuff.

Of course I cant imagine anybody needing this stuff (was going to use another word). The gags and JB's are just not that much. You can do much better outside.

Knocking into a JB Barrel will give you 35 beans.

There's sound, water, tune-up feathers, kisses, birthdays cakes, white pies, brown pies and ice cream cones for a tune-up all within the Factory.

You can only knock the barrel once per visit.

10,000 merits!!!!

I think that it stinks that once you make it to Mr. Hollywood lvl.12 you can't fight the vp whenever you want to help out other friends because you have to get back up to the 10,000 in merits just to fight the vp again. I think once you get to that level your merits should just stay full so you can fight the vp again.

Join the majority that think it stinks. You can, however, fight the vp as long as you get out before the last dance. Of course, you get NOTHING -- no SOS card, no cogs, no gag credits, you lose suit parts and sometimes, you might even go sad in the cog round and have to replace all your gags.

Well, you get nothing tangible for your effort. However, the fun of the fight and the satisfaction of being able to help your friends is for some of us worth the time and effort it takes.

Most of us 12's would be satisfied if we just didn't lose the merits. But, that's not the way Disney made the game work, and I haven't heard even a whisper that there might be a change in the future.

so instead of giving us something new and fun to do they give us the same old boring **** and make it so we HAVE to do it! I'm starting to wonder if its worth the 9 bucks a month when i find myself spending more time on boards like this one talking about how boring and redundant the game is getting than I actually do playing the game.

What ever happened to new playgrounds, new HQ's, or how about special lures you could buy and fish you could catch and take home or fish you could catch to heal you!

And while I'm on my little rant some of these contests make no sense at all! The new one is see who can play the most trolley games in 24 hours with different little categories and what not with the prize being....get this.... 1000 jellybeans! If someone played enough trolley games to win where exactly are they gonna put another 1000 beans!!! They should make the prizes something your kid cant get in the game for themselves like a toontown tee shirt or maybe toontown folders or pencils or markers for school or something.

I would assume it's in the order of the book. Sellbots require 20 Merit Progress and 10 bodyparts. Cashbot requires 40 Merit and 12 bodyparts. Lawbot requires 60 Merit and 14 bodyparts, and the top one 100 Merit and 17 bodyparts.
