New to Boards

Hi everyone, I'm new to the boards, playing toontown for about my 2nd month. I'm totally hooked! I'm only playing one character at the moment, Princess Spunky Wildmonkey. I'm at 87 LP, and doing ok in the gag tracks.

What frustrates me lately is that my tasks are 40 Level 12 and 40 Mr. Hollywood. I know there are Level 12 in VP area. I've been in the elevator 5 times and only once has everyone stayed till we got to the fighting. The other times the people in there just bailed out. I'm not even sure how they did it. I had to turn off my computer to not lose my life and my cog suit too, fighting alone.

So... I guess my questions are: Is there a way to get out of cog HQ if the toons in the elevator bail without disconnecting internet/power?

I know I can get 1 level 12 guy in a Donald's Dreamland 5 story lawbot or sellbot bldg. Are there other places to find them?

I'm a Cold Caller Level 1 right now, to move to the next cog suit do I have to defeat the VP?

I've already read about the jumping thing, didn't know that till now, so will try it if I can get into a full elevator again!

[Alt-F4], or if you are running in a window you can just close the window.

Actually, they can show up in any type of DL 5-story. Not common, though.
At this time, the only level 12s are in DL-5s and Cog HQ.

My best advice is to get in with a group of the VP-runners here. You'll have a lot more luck than with a group of random toons.
