120 factory runs is enough

I logged into Toon Town last night to get my cog armor back for another attempt at the VP. As I was fighting my way through the factory I realized that I had done the factory about 120 times already. (21 VP wins and at least 10 losses). The factory is boring, you get very few skill points and once you finish it you still have to do the elevator shuffle. I really enjoy the VP battle but the factory runs (and the elevator stuff) required to do it make it not worth doing.

Is anyone else burning out on the factory is it just me?

PS. After finishing the factory run, I logged out and watched "BRAVEHEART" instead of playing Toon Town.

I've won 24 times and lost...7, I think. I've gone through the factory 120 times? That seems insane...

Playing two toons at once,I often solo the factory.I have fallen asleep in it at least three times,so yes, I find it extreemly boring. However, with a good secret friend or even a non secret,I can at least socialize through it.(and stay awake)

What, you're not a hamster?! You don't enjoy Disney's version of the advanced hamster wheel?! Imagine that

It is boring, it is repetitive. I do it just to keep friends company as they regain their parts/merits - but only if I REALLY like them

yes it's boring

I'm a Mr.Hollywood Level 12 a few times over now and yes the factory does get boring but a sf can make all the difference in the world. If you can gather enough friends when you are ready for the Vp you don't have to play elevator shuffle, becuase yes that does stink, and it's also real easy to get stuck on the elevator when others have jumped off. I've seen a lot of people bring the lower laff toons through the factory and then won't go fight the Vp with em, I find this both amusing and annoying, it's like Duh what did you think they were going to do when they got their suit and merits. I hate to sound mean but I've been left on the elevator too many times or had to play distric hop for hours at a time. I hope everyone has fun though, if you don't enjoy it don't do it.

I love doing the VP. The factory drives me nuts. Unfortunately, can't have one without the other.

After having to help a couple of hambone Mr.Hollywoods get their 10,000 merits that was it... I was officially burned out on the factory. I went and made a new toon for s'thing different. Recently we were ubered enough to go for our factory parts... one time through and I was burned out again! I do hope that Disney will make the factory a little more random. It's just too routine, esp. after having to go through 500+ times to get parts and merits!@@

Thumbs down

I am also very bored with the factory. I have a toon that has all the pieces to a Mr. Hollywood-level 12, but I still need 5,000 merits! @@ I got fed up and created a new toon. Now I just enjoy random toon tasks and Fishing! I hope the other HQ's are better. Good luck to all, and have fun playing Toon Town!

You know it's really bad in the factory when you know which cog will give you a knockback bonus, therefore, whether or not to use that cream pie on him...tooo much

The consensus is...

way too repetitive!

Yes, the factory is a major drag ... once you've mastered it, its just going through the motions.

I like to go to Dreamland for merits you get around the same 550+ merit points for sweeping the factory, or for a five story sellbot building plus in the 5 story you still get your gag points

and it doesnt seem so boring that way
(especially if you need 5000 or more merits!)

max on all gags

If ur a mr. Holly its not worth the time u can spend hour and hours just geting ur parts and merits. It was a bad idea losing your parts every time yuo fight the vp maby merits yes but not both. If i was a disney computerdesigner i would make toon town so u dont have go in the factory every time until you get an upgrade on your cogs suit.

word of advise disney PLZ MAKE THE NEXT HQ A LITTLE MORE FUN
