a few questions

I am 91 lp, so I felt somewhat comfortable going in to the VP, however people decided to do the elevator shuffle and much to my amazement (horror) I went in alone, so I decided to look around and get an idea of what it was like inside, when I knew it was hopeless I logged off.

When I came back I had lost 2 suit pieces, so I knew I had to go back again to collect all pieces of my suit.

I got the pieces and a friend of mine still needed some pieces so we went through the factory with me having a full suit, at the end I got another piece and I want to know what it does with that piece, will it save it until I win the VP and apply it to the next cog I start becoming or are these extra pieces good for nothing until I am working on the second suit? I guess to put it more simply, will it save those or am I wasting my time?

First, if you get caught going into the VP chamber from an elevator
shuffle, ALT-F4 quickly. You will not lose your disguise. You lose
your disguise only when the VP discovers you (the NPC tips him
off - I smell conspiracy!).

Secondly, what you are seeing in the factory is a bug. Have you
ever noticed (after defeating a building) if a toon before you
completes a task during the tally, your task in that same position
is green? This is the same bug. The toon before you earned a
part, and when the task portion of your tally began, the part
remained. You don't actually get anything. You'll notice this the
most when you collect a different part than the toon who tallied
before you.
