This is not the time!

In VP to:

1) get your level one trap/lure/drop up on level 10 plus mobs people. Really annoying when two use it at the same time risking everyone.

2) spamming animal sounds which lag some people out.

3) bailing out between cog rounds in vp simply because you had to work a bit to win round one.

I wish these people would grow up.

It's the same in the mints too. I had someone today trying to train their quicksand in a bullion and one person got so frustrated he TPed out. I wish people would be more considerate training their gags and do it in buildings or with friends, because it brings everyone else down.

There is nothing whatsoever wrong with using quicksand in a mint, or for training most any trap there for that matter. Remember, one of the main purposes of traps is to assist the lure. (That tnt also kills the cog is a bonus.) I'm perfectly happy if someone throws down a banana peel in front of a line of level 11's when I'm doing a lure. The other players should backup that trap with throws/squirts/drops. Only one trap is required to assist the lure, and people should hold back on their tnt's and not throw them down all at once.

Now... If the player chooses quicksand after all others have chosen their gags and always selects a cog that others are not attacking, then I will agree, they should not do this. They need to learn to pick the trap quickly so others can back them up, otherwise they should back up other trappers or toon-up if it isn't neccessary.

Keep in mind also the damage it does... A quicksand with a b-day cake can take out a level 10 (11 if the cake is organic). This would leave the remaining player to do as he pleases (perhaps use a tnt of their own). Any mint is ideal for training quicksand.
