I'm not sure if this has been posted somewhere else, but my friends and I have been trying different strategies to kill the V2 cogs and something that has been working great for us in The Front Three is using 2 fogs, one elephant and a piano on the row of 10s with just one level 10 V2 cog. I know some people are reluctant to "waste" their foghorns but in The Front Three you will have plenty of fogs for all the cogs especially if you master cog ball.

i think damage does carry over. i was in a CEO and someone used B-day cake on a lvl 12 big cheese (duh), i used piano when someone lese had already used piano (i was testing this carry over theory at this time ) the toon was like "No!!!" when i chose it,b ut when the cake and 2 pianos were done hiitng, the big cheese blew up and tehre was no skelecog!

so yeah, i guess damage does carry over...

Version Two Cogs [/size]
The V2.0 (version two cogs) are a new type of cog that can only be found in the Bossbot golf courses and the CEO. These cogs have two lives, meaning they must blow up twice. For example, if you come across a V2.0 11 Corporate Raider, you must defeat the level eleven Corporate Raider first. After you do this it will blow up as usual, but leave a level 11 skelecog behind. You must defeat this cog also. The good part is if you haven't attacked the skelecog yet, it will not attack you.
Great guide! I just have one point to make. Once a V2's first incarnation as a cog has been destroyed the skelecog will not attack in the following round whether it has been attacked or not.

Er...Thanks to those who have commented. Does anybody want to give me a screenie or picture, in which you are defeating a v2.0 cog? I would really appreciate the solid evidence. I don't want a confusing thread, so I think I might just ask the mods to delete it if the damage does carry over. But not yet!!...Thank you!

Why not just fix the original post when all the information is sorted out.

My Mood:
Ill try to get some pics too.

I just tried this situation:

3 Cakes on a 12 (1 was planted) and a piano (170)

(2x100 + 110) = 372 (including combo bonus) and dropped skelecog (170pts). The skelecog died.

Still unsure if points carryover or if the skelecog actually has less LP.

Thats what I probably will do.

---And whats to say this isn't a bug? There are so many bugs in the BBHQ. Thank you offering to get some pictures, I'd really appreciate it! Once I get this all figured out, I will post more strategies, and info, etc.

Yesterday in a CEO I hit the v2 level 12 with a storm cloud and it took him out. The skele was green at the time. I don't remember what all was used on him the first time. All I know is that I put a cloud on him and someone put a piano. My cloud took him out without getting to the piano. Same thing happens on the 3 holes that we have done. It does carry over.

I think it does carry over in a ceo all of us used Storm Cloud and the cog blew up and it looked like the skelecog blew up with it but you couldnt see it and it never appeared.

The hit points do not carry over, just the unused combo and lure bonus points.

My friend Shashi and I ran a few tests and found this out.

So thats what kept throwing me off... the damage from excessive gags does nothing but the combo bonus will carry over... this is an excellent way to make use of a piano that would usually not kill a lvl 12 by itself. Just that bit of carry-over would be all you need.

Interesting math on this one. I can tell it will take a bit of time to work out these new, more complicated combos.

That is actually very interesting. I am glad I wasn't totally wrong I knew there had to be some rule. Thank you for clarifying this. Should I change it to:
"Only unused bonuses (such as lure and gag combo) carry over into the skelecog."
Would that be correct? Thank you so much

What do you mean by unused combo?
