In the most simple way of putting it, I would say this. If golfing is part of your CEO, have 3/4 toons on the tees. 1/2 will NOT help make the treads red. 2 golfers, I find, can keep the color the same if the golfers do well. A good stratagy would be to use 4 golfers to make the treads dark red, then take 2 off and let the other 2 keep the color the same. I perfer the CEO with golfing because, yes it may make the battle longer, but there are a lot of new CEO players right now. With golfers, it slows the CEO down and makes it safer. Potentially slower, but safer. His attacks and charges are slow and easier to dodge. I recommend this for randoms and CCG runs. It may not be the way everyone perfers, but I do find it safer for toons to play with. I know the tee can get boring, but being in a elevator of randoms and going on the tee is being very nice. On the other hand, for golfless; I don't think there is a right or wrong way. I do golfless runs sometimes with friends that can dodge the attacks without needed them slowed down. Telling everyone to jump on the seltzer pitchers, even though there is a high chance of getting new CEO'ers on your elevator, is very dangerous because it is EASY to lose laff on the table. Great for friend runs- not so much for randoms. If you are in one of those, please play it safe and do a run with golfing!

I haven't read the whole thread (nor am I probably going to because of time constraints), but I just ran a CEO with all friends (3 were not my sf, but someone else's). I don't think we really had many golfers, maybe very limited throughout. No one died, but I did get down to 30-something, mainly running into Fores intended for other people. We ran the entire thing in about 35 minutes. No conveyor belts were destroyed. This was my first win. I think, if you have good toons who know how to escape the fore attacks, you can easily try everyone (or maybe 6 or 7) on seltzers, as it goes faster. But for people not good at mvoing quickly, golf is the way to go. That way, you don't lose laff as quickly. Just my opinion.

Me and my posse did a 6 man last night and started 3 and 3... got him to red then 2 golfers went to seltzer. It seems 1 golfer can't keep him red but keeps him slow enough to make a huge difference.

Another battle later was a standard 8 and did the usual 4 and 4 until red then all seltzer. This worked EXTREMELY well... he did speed back up but only until his tracks were the red right before deep red. He was slow the majority of the battle and we had the benefit of 8 seltzers to finish off the battle quickly.

Edit: rereading it seems a bit conceited... I just want those having problems with wins to realize what is possible. This battle isn't that hard once everyone there is focused and understands their roles.

In the CJ, the stunning of the cogs is seemingly useless to me, as 8 toons firing at the scale at the same time can get much more evidence in than only 4-5 toons.
In the CEO, the golf clubs are almost required to make the battle winnable, but no one seems to see that.

Can we switch the use of stunning and the use of golfing, please?
I have done C.J. and stunning cogs is important. If you don't stun them they'll hit other toons and put evidence in their pan. The person who doesn't get any toons on the jury should stun cogs. Person with most toons on jury should do evidence in the pan. If all cogs are stunned then your evidence increases and everyone rushes to the pan until the time runs out.

I'm one of those "misguided" people that think golfing is a waste of time. If Disney removed the golfing option, I wouldn't be sad, I would cheer. Had some experiences wher freeloaders go to golf while the rest of us do the hard work. My last CEO had a Yesman with 132 laff that golfed the whole time. Normally that would be ok, but when she saw that her solo golfing did nothing, she should have seltzered. People with higher laff should be seltzering anyway, and IF NEED BE, lower laffers golf. I prefer all-seltzer CEOs anyway.

You have to have 3 to 4 golfers from the beginning to get him dark red. Once his tracks are dark red there are two options.

1. Everyone go to the seltzer bottles and start hitting him quickly
Watch his tracks and his speed, if he loses the dark red color get someone back on golfing to slow him down.

2. Keep one GOOD golfer on and the rest on seltzer. The golfer needs to be able to know what he or she is doing. Make sure you are hitting the CEO(watch for the puffs of smoke). I have found that when he does his fore shot and you jump off that you can move to the next ball quicker then waiting on your ball to come back. This helps the one golfer continually hit without wasting anytime.

I actually made it out of a round last night without losing a single laff point. using the 1st strategy. We did time the first one and it seems you have about 5 minutes from Dark Red to him getting to a lighter red and speeding up. But if you have good people on Seltzer he should be just about finished off and you don't need to jump back on.

I know that a lot depends on who you are with and what they know about defeating the CEO, but it's easier if you all work together and everyone should be doing something.

I have been in a couple of rounds that people are more concerned with their laff points(when they really aren't that low) getting snacks then helping kill the CEO.

Each toon is important in this battle. Work together to get it done in a timely manner!

Best of luck to each of you

Golfing slows him down drastically, that is if you can have toons keep hitting him for a while. Personally, I like to have 5 or 6 on seltzers, and the rest golfing. But some people won't golf even if all the tables are taken.
