Great tips. One suggestion I have is if you are golfing, and you are not getting hit at all but do have a few unites, please take a look around the room to make sure everyone is good on laugh. This battle is based on teamwork and the squirters are needed to ensure everyones success.

I agree that if they run as a group, some of them might have enough toon up... But if they are really low in toon up, then i don't blame them if they run, they don't always have time to use the speedchat because sometimes they can die in one hit, and it doesn't matter if they run because they will go sad anyway. Like i said, i don't like people who run when they have a chance to stay without going sad, but i can understand people who run when they are really gonna go sad, it doesn't matter for me if they speak in TF or speedchat or if they don't speak at all. Don't get me wrong, i really hate it when people run, in most of the boss battles that i run i was the last one to stay, but sometimes i was also really low in toon up in other boss battles, and it was low enough to go sad just by one hit, so because of the level 7 gags i ran. Why should i stay when i know for sure that i will go sad just by one hit, when i can just leave and save my level 7 gags? Its not like i will help someone if i will stay, i will go sad anyway... It doesn't happen to me a lot because i hate to run, like i said most of the times that i leave is when im the last toon, but i just can't blame people who run when they are really low in toon up. I don't think that people who run as a group are all low in toon up, they are probably not, so i agree that its wrong... But IF they are that low, then i won't blame them if they run. I don't think its fair to lose your level 7 gags when you go sad, you worked hard to get it, its not like the other gags that you can get in one jellybean, and its not like the laff points that the doodle can give you back. We really need to work for that gags. Now lets say that you went sad, lost all your level 7 gags, got it again after a lot of work, and then went to ceo... He hitted you, you try to get toon up, but some toons with 50+ laff points takes the snacks, they just stand there doing nothing but steal the snacks, when you really try to fight the ceo, and then you go sad again... Is it fair that you will lose all your level 7 gags just because someone else who didn't even help, took all the snacks? Would you like to start to get all your level 7 gags AGAIN, without even use it? I would run if that happens to me.

Not hard to regain laff and gags. I mean, most toons over 110 laff have too many beans as it is, so who cares about those? And if you are so wimpy you cant run around after snow flakes or soemthing, then you and a friend can go to a simple street battle and toonup that way, using TU on each other. Why would someone go to all the trouble of getting in to BBHQ, and then not stick it out until the end?! |

Also staying alive would be a lot easier, if we had 100's of unites
.Lol, but good guide, most of those are what I have been doing wrong, although I was aware of them, maybe I just needed a wake up call.

When I originally posted asking people not to disconnect, I was under the impression that disconnecting during the boss battle would result in the toon getting sad. I had asked someone in the chat room just an hour before I posted, and they told me that. Believe it or not, in three months of toontown I've never thought of bailing on a boss battle. But if it is true that you do not lose your level 7 gags, then I guess I can see the point for those toons who are so low on laff points that the end is inevitable for them.
Perhaps I should amend my post by suggesting that nobody go into the elevator with more than 2 level 1 flunkies! The time 3 of us won, all five of the other toons were exactly the level 1 flunkies. You do the math. |

Great tips cory.
I would just like to add that common curtesies (sp?) are that you should never get a snack later in the CEO unless you have under 50 laff. If you have more than 50 laff there is no need for you to get a snack. Another thing is that if two people are obviously headed for the snack line and you are one of them, check to see if you have more laff then them and let them take the snacks instead of being self centered and hogging them for yourself. Feel free to use the phrase, "Please save the snacks for sadder toons." I use it quite often because more often than not people are just getting snacks whenever they feel like it, and its not ok for the team. I think that the CEO can bring out the worst in toons and when you have about 4 self centered toons in one CEO constantlly taking all of the snacks you are bound to have a major problem, especially when they keep taking the snack when you have over 100 laff. That is totally uncalled for, even if snacks are falling its better to just keep attacking the CEO rather than trying to get TU 10 from snacks. |
