3 times now I have tried the vp.. and all three I have died..

Guess I'm not haveing the best of luck with it,

I'm 102lp. Wife went with me and we can talk our attacks but cant very fsat with the rest of the group..

Guess we get our suit back and try again Monday night at 8 est to do it again...lol

One question do you get the cog count at the end, I need 80 level 12 and haveing a time getting them.

Please wish us luck..

PS anyone got some level 12 cogs they can spare?

Do you die in the final VP battle (pie throwing) or earlier?

The final VP battle does take a while to get accustomed to it. The game changes from turn based to real time, so there is not many convenient opportunities to chat during the final VP battle.

The best overview that I have seen of the VP battle was posted by Loosy Goosy.Cog HQ as seen by the Goose

In fact this post and a map of the factory would make a good guide to Cog HQ in my opinion.

I thought I was the only one foolish enough to take the 80 L12 cogs!

After 6 months on that task (on a toon that I played off and on) I finished the 80 L12 Cog task (18 prior to Cog HQ, then 62 during the VP battle). It took me 9-10 VP battles to get the 62 L12 cogs.

Stick with it. It took me 4 tries before the first success. Since that first one, I've only lost once (after multiple toon disco'd) in 20 some tries.

I have died twice in the fights before the pie throwing marathon. once because me and wife wanted to see if it would change with less toons there.. The other due to the toons with me ran out of toon ups in the battle.

I died 1 time throwing pies. had to learn to jump at the right time. I had 72 health when we got there but my timming was all off and sad I went...lol

I look forward to my first win... and getting some of the level 12's dead.

Don't dispair...I died the first 6 times! I was usually one of the last two standing and had to just give up quite a few times. You'll get the hang of it!

Hiya there Tom (and Missy Dawn),

MrsWeebert is my daughter... so mom will jump aboard this ship and offer my help as she did.

I've had my share of deaths in the beginning and can honestly say that most of the time it was due to lack of players. (Many were locking up during game play) and leaving the rest to fend for ourselves.

However...I'd love to know what kind of gags you and wifey are carrying -- whether they are maxed gags (or at least worth their full amount) --- how many tune ups you carry, etc.

This will give me a better idea of what to expect during battle and how I can best help you succeed at winning your first bout with the big guy.

Feel free to PM me with a SF code for yourself and Dawn, so I can help the both of you by giving direction when it's needed.

Either they don't play but once a week, or they're getting parts when I'm Vp'ing or I'm getting parts while they're Vp'ing.

I find it much easier to "wing it"..Or set things up like this, through here.

Ok..

This is beginning to get way too confusing for me.

At first I wrote this huge post about this, times, that and everything else. Just so I could accomodate people who had different schedules.

But since I have a life too, I can't sit and fill out a calendar of who is ready, and when.
