A heartfelt apology!

I'm new to these boards by about a week. I've been just lurking around in the background, but felt the need to register and post an apology to anyone involved in a VP battle on Saturday late afternoon with Prof. Cranky Sourpounce.

I'm not sure why, but this is what happened.

We were in the skelecog phase of the battle, one toon was luring, 2 were healing with canes as I recall, so I went to switch from my original selection of a birthday cake to pixie dust to heal the most damaged toon. Well, when I clicked on the back button, all of a sudden it auto-selected the fog horn, and since I was the last player to make a selection at that point it took it and went with it. So I blasted my rude foghorn all over the successful lure.

The only thing I can think is that since I clicked on back as the last player selected their cane is that I stumbled on some sort of bug, but that still does not make me feel any better.

I am truly sorry about that mistake. The only saving grace is that all was recovered afterwards, and all eight of us made it through the VP fight through the end.

you know, i could swear that something like that happened to me once. back when i first started played a few months ago. but i figured that i just somehow hit it wrong.

That hasn't happened to me yet, but something recently has started happening. When there are several cogs at once, I'll pick a gag. BUT when I try to select a cog, it just idles there. My gag will show up, but not the 'x' to show which cog i picked.

Anyone else have this problem???


I thought it was just me, but I went into the sellbot factory with some other toons, and one of them would pick something, but not pick a cog. WEIRD!

I'm sure the apology was not necessary. We have all done...not too bright...things either accidently or on purpose. I usually throw out an 'Oops' and a couple 'Sorry's imediately after I do them. Just 'Hang in there' and 'Have fun'!

the same thing happened to me. when i went to pick throw with the others while one was luring, i picked my b-day cake to throw but it messed up and picked trap! I accidenally blew-up the cog and they all got mad at me. I hope they fix this soon.

I have noticed that recently when you click on a gag, the picture doesn't show up. It's tough because no one knows what you are playing or you don't know what they are playing.
