Having now done 4 ubers I can say this is one of the most fun things in TT. I love the fact that the wins are hard earned and challenging. I have a 2 track, 20 laff maxed uber as well as 2 4 track ubers (one now grown) and i'm working on a 3 track uber. The ccg is a great place to advance your suit as the LLKR strategy and teamwork makes the runs usually fairly smooth. I would also say it is not a neccesity, I find random runs in river to be just as much fun and more challenging the only drawback is the horrible shuffle.
There are 2 uber vp's sponsored by the ccg every week. There is also Troubadors uber vp's twice a week. Both events are uber only vp's 50 laff or less, ccg is flexible on gags while troubadors requires maxed throw and squirt. There have been several all 2 tracker vp's now which are also a great challenge and prove with great teamwork it is possible to dance with all 2 track ubers. Black Licorice Has A Two Track Mind And Grabs A Key! The VP has also been solo'd by a uber with 4 tracks and 39 laff, lowest laff to ever solo vp. Krpyton Knight SOLOS VP AT 39 LAFF!! I really think you also learn so much about strategy when playing a uber and it is a great fun challenge in the game and also teaches alot of patience
