I'm maxxing Cash on my black cat (85 laffer now) and I have seen every type of "strategy" in the Bullion.
I also get harassed at the elevator and during the mint for my laff level, even though I have all level 7 gags. I guess it's just a new batch of players going through the motions that old-timers find tedious. |

I agree with you that it is best to use 1 fog at a time in the mints and everyone else use smaller sound. I have seen what you are referring to and I do agree that the larger mints are much faster by using 1 fog at a time. The only mint that I think 2 fogs works great is in the coin mint, but only because there are a small number of sets of cogs.

It's possible you arent seeing DA strategy but people skittish about losing laff. They see people doing it in the DA and think "oh boy oh boy" and dont realize in the DA half the cogs are not sounded as part of the conventional stategy.
And sometimes people just forget out of habit. In either place I've used speedchat. "Let's go to the District Attorney's Office!" "No." btw when someone absentmindedly uses an extra fog in the DA I'll say "Let's go to the Mint!" when greeting the top floor skelecogs. 90% of the time they get it and switch mental gears for a 3-ele 1-fog 2 turn encounter. It's funny how getting hit by the skels otherwise means something completely different in the DA that the mint to some people.

I see it both ways. I don't mind either way.
If I'm the lower laff there, I follow what the larger laffs do. If I'm the higher laff there, I will try to save a fog, but as long as the toons are smiling and the cogs are destroyed eventually, I'm happy. When I'm with sfs, we do the 1 fog, 3 ele. |
