Pop, this is the same method I've used since I was a Level 2 cold caller, and it's the best method to date. Standing at an angle in the back up close is exactly how I got my title. In my past VP Battles, I've scored 40% of all the stuns between the eight toons.

Just remember guys and gals, when the undercarraige opens, pump 'em in there as fast as you can, 'cause if a gear comes and hits you, it's really hard to get one in before it closes. 2c

Yep, my duck can kamakazee and can actually hit other toons for laff increase. My big dog is a pro at the distance shot.

I don't know if it's me or what, but my pie-throwing technique bites big-time. I just have no control, it seems! When I place my mouse over the blue bar under the pie, it just wiggles and I have NO idea how to control the height or whatever of my pie throw.

Soooo... I am the official Tooner-Upper whenever I go in to fight the VP. There's always a bunch of toons who get knocked out by his jumping, and so I toon them up while dodging the gear showers.

How bad am I at stunning? I had a cheeky brown rabbit run right up to me, get in front of me, and say, "You should pass!" three times in a row. Made me blush and laugh at the same time.

lol, that's funny! actually i still have no control over the blue bar so i just adjust myself by moving forwards and backwards. despite this, i have gotten pretty good at stunning!

That is funny Some people have all the nerve! He could have just stood next to you and stunned no need for the wise (snip) remarks. As far as using the mouse, my opinion, don't! It's more difficult to control the "shot" that way. Try using the <insert> key if you haven't already. See how that works for you.

You really don't have to worry about the bar that much. For the "distance stun" tap away at the insert key and back off until you see your "splats" near the center of the box door. Continue tapping away at the same rate and when it opens your pie will go in.

Good Luck

My toon is as tall as it let me make it (I didn't know ANYTHING about the VP then and it was out on open) and I still don't have any problem doing the kamakazee method. This is my evil twin smile who can't seem to do that

Been a while since I've seen this thread. Anyway with the insert key I find it easier to not hold it down but to tap quickly for straighter shots and tap slower for a higher arch. Once you get a tapping rythm going you can get the same angle and hit the same spot over and over again.

Then again what do I know??? I haven't seen the VP in so long he's probably old and grey by now . I'm lucky if I see the VP once a month, Factory runs are just too boring

Well im good.... well my 3 of my friends (all doing seperate runs in seperate distrects) all called me to do vp with them because they always have their quickest runs with me Also when im out of vp some toon (not just cold callers but once I had 2 holly's at once) come up to me and say you rock. And then applause! So im guessing im good... so if you want any tips ill be happy to give you some!
