What shall I name this thread???????

Is it just me or has everyone just gone nuts??? I have seen so many "post wars" in this forum.... its enough to make anyone cringe.

Regarding the "hundreds" of posts about lowbies in the VP, well, I think that is for each player to decide on their own. I respect everyones decision to bring whom they choose, even if it is based on laff points. If I go in with a group who doesnt want to run the VP with lowbies.. so be it. But I personally couldnt care less. I have gone in with low laffers on a few occasions, and I havnt lost because of them. As Ive said before, the VP battle will not be the deciding factor. As long as they can jump and toss some pies, they are good to go! But, its the initial cogs before that battle that worries me. Unless you are one of those "maxed" lowbies, then without the high laffers, you wouldnt stand a chance. You need us for our gags. We used to all say how tough the VP was in the beginning when we were all new at it... personally, I think its gotten sooo easy, and if you know what youre doing now.. you dont need 8 to get him. 5 maybe would do the trick.. so be it if those lower laffers dont make it, so long as you do right? The method of play sometimes just doesnt cut it period!! But kudos for trying as long as you know when to play and when to pass. I am really torn at this time seeing some of my s/f completely against it and some who are all for it. Not that I expect anyone to care, but on my trip through Oak Street yesterday, (on my way to HQ), I saw some low laff toons hanging around a building. I almost walked by but then thought... WOW they are ACTUALLY working on tasks. They probably wouldve stood there forever, but I went through and helped them with the 4 story boss building. They were polite in asking for help, and thanked me accordingly when I left and said "no problem" when I refused to continue helping them. These are the toons I want to see in HQ. I dont know the last time I was in a building, but I have seen so many high laffers talk about getting these guys out of HQ, but in a sense, they still need our help elsewhere. Have you gone through the brrgh lately? There is a serious shortage of "toons helping toons" I know that when I was a newb, there were many toons who helped me even though they were 100 and I was a 44 or whatever. Anyhow, like I said everyone has their own method of playing and I respect EVERYONES opinion, but people, do we really need to continue this topic over and over till we are blue in the face? I have been told that some "s/f's" are losing friends through these posts!!! That is just not necessary. ( I hope I dont get ambushed after this post hee hee).

The second thing is this. Arent we all here because we love this game??? I know I play because it puts me in a different zone, no stress, and I can just relax and giggle to myself at what all my freinds are saying. Some of my s/f's I barely talk to anymore because they are such die hards about these merit things. I personally would rather take my time, and enjoy the company Im with. (Last night was fun!!! Kim, Tammi & Sherri - we had a gals night out)!! That is how it should be, should it not? We need to look at the big picture again and tell ourselves that no matter how we look at it, this is a game for kids!! Its Disney "for crying out loud". Most of the people who post here and are arguing, are adults!!! I wonder if any of the programmersread these posts and laugh at how personally we are taking some of these things. Maybe thats why they've added the new phrases like; "of all the nerve" and "whatever" and "I dont care", so that we can continue these childish wars with each other for their entertainment. I love the people I play with.... you are all awesome. I've been spending more time on the forum than on TT because of all the animosity, but now, I come here and all I see is people against each other. Im not a saint, Ive contributed to these threads too, but once I state my opinion, Im pretty much done from there. Perhaps some of you out there are gonna call me a sap... and tell my to but out.. and thats fine too, but this game just isnt was it used to be, OR what its supposed to be anymore. These poor kids who play this game, and are getting attacked. They take it seriously. I allow my nephew to play from time to time, and when he makes a new freind, his face lights up!!! I love that!!! I cant imagine what it would do to him if some one walked by and told him "you stink" just because he used the wrong gag, or went into a buildng not knowing that he shouldnt be there. I am going on to play in a while... but dont ask me to VP!! I have decided that my first hour of play each night will consist of helping the lower laff toons with their tasks. If we are to solve this problem... maybe thats the only solution. I hope everyone is still enjoying themselves as they should be... but from the looks of it in here and out there..... most (NOT ALL) are just angry and bitter. *shrugs*

I haven't touched CHQ for the past 2 days, and I'm lovin it! (ba da ba ba ba ... **torches McDonalds** They always make me think of that accursed jingle! I've been helping out lower Toons more often now ... especially in the Brrrgh, where there's a shortage of Toons to help. I'm in a 5 story Brrrgh building right now helping someone who needs to defeat Legal Eagles, another that needs the Bird Seed from Legel Eagles, and a guy who needs 5 story Law buildings.

Seriously, as one of your sf's I have no problem if you have different opinions than me. Please do! I think that the problem of less higher toons helping lower toons really started with the fishing change. Many of those higher toons helping lower toons were to get jelly beans without having to play those stupid trolly games over and over and over and over again. When they put the new fishing system in, it became easy to max out your bank with an afternoon or less of solo fishing. It would seem that Disney did not give any thought to what that would do to their quasi-mentor program of beans for help. They should have changed some of the other tasks to compensate for it such as having to help a lower toon to get your next gag bag or make it so that you can only get the coolest 'just for fun' thing by doing it, or exchange toonhelp tickets for help only items for your house...etc...

I too will go into the VP with whoever is around. If it is just high toons, so be it. I think that it is kind of boring now to go with 8 high toons, but if that is what is around, so be it. Ms Peaches Nuttytoon and I still want to try a 4 toon party just for fun and are up to other challanges as well. It is only a few beans if you fail right? If I'm just fishing and you come across another couple of little toons needing help, don't hesitate to call on me! I'll be there with bells on

This game is suppose to be fun! And it only is if you make it!

It just depends on who you make the rounds with! There are some out there that make you laugh! That is what I am looking for. Sure you can boogie through the factory as fast as you like...but for me! I rather play under the stompers! Fly off a bldg or just plane old have fun! If one is on her 3rd attempt to fill up 10000 merrits you have to find a way to have fun!

Life is too stressful! Toontown is for playing!

I would love to help you. If you would like I can send you an SF code. Eventhough I'm almost maxed out on JBs I'm still taking elder toon tasks so it forces me to be kinder to the smaller toons.

As I stated in my resolve thread I'm sick to death of all the elevator dancing and B.S. games that are happening arround Toon Town. I think some of us just need to be reminded of what it was like being a smaller toon.

Right peaches!! Its only what you make it.... the fun I had with the "girls" last night, I would trade for the elevator shuffle ANY DAY!!! Our freind Kimmer (discoed) until we knew that... she had just fallen asleep in the factory. We got a good laugh at the thought of pushing her little bunny behind through the factory so she could finish with us LOL!! We, in the end opted against it, but it sure was funny thinking about it ;o)

I will run the factory. I normally go with anybody, unless there is a really low laffer then I try to get at least one higher laff besides myself to go. Why not. It was pointed out in other threads that once you've done the challenges a few time they DO start to get easier.

So many people resent having to help lower toons. "I spent all this time getting where I am" mentalities that they forget that there were lots of other toons that helped them get there.

As for the vp battle, I would love to go but I wouldn't want my toon pic posted here saying, "look this idiot threw a cream pie and missed so we all took 2 million hits from the cogs." Well, I know how to do battle, even in vp battle now but still I am afraid of all those nit pickers that make it a life or death thing to go sad in a vp battle. None of my friends want to go there either.

It's sad when you are happier meeting up with the cogs than with some of these highly aggressive toons. lol

well since all you great toons are feeling helpful, i'm going to play my Denisse account. it's been really difficult the last month trying to do anything on that account as i cant do a big building by myself on it yet. so if you see a little blue mouse named Denisse running by you, she's looking for Big Cheese's and needs help.

So I logged on today.. and because none of my friends were ready for VP, I decided to look for a random group. I found one that looked like they needed a couple more so I asked "would you like some help". I never had any intentions of stealing someones spot, which is why I stayed by the door when I asked if they needed help. Well I was shocked at the response I got. They could have used "no thank you", "lets wait for me freind" or even a simple "no" would have been fine... but what I got was "NO!!!!" , "you stink", "please go away" "of all the nerve", I dont know who they were.. and Im not posting names because thats just not how I am... but I will take it up with them in PM.. Maybe. Shylo is a lvl 9 Two Face and she has 103 laffs, so I know it wasnt because of my laff points or anything.. I am sure they were just waiting on more freinds... but MY GAWD PEOPLE!!!! LIGHTEN UP!!!! that was uncalled for.

I know for a fact that 4 can do the vp part of the battle. Tall Dlite and I became friends after that experience!! The others we were with weren't low laffers either, one was my mom Frizzy Lizzy Waterlilly who is 103. Just bad luck, even high laffers can go sad fighting those evil skelecogs!!

Anyway, I think your idea of helping smaller toons for the first hour of play is brilliant. I'll come hang out with you for that hour if you want, it sounds like fun!! Great way to start off the day.

A side note for Shylo, aurora is ready to fight the vp now, but my computer decided it didn't like me anymore so my hubby needs to fix it. When I can get on again (hopefully soon ) I'd like to go with you again!! See ya on TT.

p.s. Definitely to many bad attitudes in TT these days, people need to lighten up and remember their manners. (Sorry for the randomness of this post, just trying to include eveything in one rather than multile posts.)
