Last time I go in with 62- toons

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh but I was just in the VP, we were doing ok, we had a 62 and a 52, no problem. We made it through the first wave of cogs, one disconncect. Another toon ran when it was over. Then I was in a group of 4 toons (while the other had 2) we had the 62 laffer. Very inexperienced player. EVERYTIME WE HAD A GOOD LURE AND WERE TOONING UP HE WOULD USE A CREAM PIE ON THE STRONGEST ONE. HE did it again and again and again. Needless to say the other side died. And eventually so did we. Because of his lack of teamwork (We'd all work on the same cog except him) the turn the lure broke on the level 11 and 12 cogs we all died. So that's it, no more 62- Cold Caller VPs for me.

EDIT: I'm cooled down, now... I will go in with 1 62- cold caller level 1 per VP... not more than one though, well maybe if I know everyone else, I dunno maybe more than 2... I just needed to vent.

Bravo! I totally support your decision to never play with a 60-
something toon again. I will say this: you'll probably miss out on
several VP victories with 60-something toons, but you're well
within your right to choose who you do battle with

Hey, remember me? I was there. I have lost several times because of 65- laff toons and I hope they have learned thier lesson.

BTW- Do you want to be my sf?

Oh am I so tired of this!

Its just a game, not all 62 laffers are bad or Cold Caller Level 1. It was probably a kid. I have done the the VP with 60 laffers and we have all lived. Some might be bad cog killers for the line up but turn out to be good VP killers. Sometimes me and my other high laffer friend would go with 60 and 70 laffers for a better VP run. It makes the game interesting!!! Don't u think?

If this game did not have the unusal players wouldn't it be dull by now? Just a thought!

Lady Gwen, what are you tired of? He simply stated that he
doesn't want to play with certain toons. He's not suggesting
others do the same

True, but i am just tired of toons that wont play with other toons, espeicaly if one 60 laffer ruined for all 60 laffer. Its just mean to label all of them because of couple of bad experince. That is all was trying to point out. Lets just have fun and be happy!

I guess this brings be back to when i was child. I didnt get to be in band or any other outside class activites, cause my older siblings made it a bad expernce for my parents.

Dont let a bad egg ruin the fun for the same class category toon.

I agree, and won't base who I play with on their laff points simply
because certain others at that level stink. At the same time,
ssgamer has every right to avoid entering the VP lift with anyone
he wants, even if it means doing the elevator shuffle for 2 hours

Sometimes we have to adjust our style of play. If you had the Cogs lured, maybe you should have followed his creampie with another gag to make sure the cog was killed. You could have then TU'd up the player who was down on laff, while the other two killed the next cog.

Maybe that toon was thinking to himself, why won't that 83laffer help me kill the cog. Doesn't he know those cogs are going to come unlured eventually, and were going to get hit by all of them. Then he might say to himself. "I'm never going back in with anyone I don't know again" "Some of these 80+ laffers don't have a clue"

Just my thoughts

Maybe he was expecting some help on killing off the biggest cog. Maybe he plays with friends all the time and they expect him to cream pie the biggest cog so they can follow up with a piano. You don't know what is going through the mind of the other player. For this reason, I avoid going into the VP with toons that I don't know or at least my friends know.

You can't label ALL 60 laughers the same. I happen to think I'm a good player and an asset to any group and right now I'm only a 62 laugher. Then again I stay away from the VP because of people like you who will elevator shuffle just because someone like myself wanted to try the elevator.

I've even had people whisper to me "I think this is too risky for you" when getting on the factory elevator. (I was looking for a certain bot I knew would be in there) I have my entire suit and the merrits to go with it. So don't judge a book by it's cover.

I do agree that the average 50 and below laugher doesn't need to go to the VP. That is certain death for that toon. From what I understand from friends is that it's ok if you have one 60+ laugher in the group.

I personally stock alot of toon up because I know right now my only high gags are throw and squirt. (My .sig is outdated. Sorry.) So in the very least I know as long as I'm alive I can heal other players. I do this willingly because a. it's just a game. b. I like to help other toons when needed.

This is supposed to be a community of people trying to enjoy their experience. So why is there all this hatred for the smaller toons? So you've lost a couple of battles. It could happen with high laughers as well. (I've seen some pretty moronic high laughers) So don't always judge a book by it's cover or a toon by their LP.

Ugly has a very good point. There seems to be a certain
expectation that the low laffer should follow the lead of the high
laffer. This is a deadly assumption. The best way to know for sure
what to do is to have a waiting contest. If the low laffer selects
first, then you can compliment his gag with yours. He may not
know the best plan of action but your adaptation will win the day.
If he waits with you, to the point that the timer is about to run
out, there's a good chance he knows what he's doing, and wants
to make sure NOT to ruin a battle plan. This of course assumes a
certain amount of game experience on the part of the 60 laffer.

You can get a feel for what others do usually by the first or second
round, by waiting as long as possible to see their play style.

Beyond that, perception is reality. It could very well be that
ssgamer's experience was indeed a bad one. I'll don't blame him
for choosing the toons he wants to play with

I have had about the same amount of trouble fighting the VP with high level toons as with low level toons. If they don't know what they are doing it doesn't matter what level they are.

Hi Loosy, long time know see.
