SonicXPD, if you want people to read your posts you have to type them properly. What does "i soe you fireball yay you sade in the elvator" mean?
Also if you disagree with someone then you should say why instead of just saying "shut up".

Did you by any chance say to him/her "You should pass???"
If you didn't and you just used your speedchat frustration saying "NO!!!" "Let's work together!" etc. then it's your fault too for not knowing how to use the speedchat. If you did, boy either the toon was a child, wanted to screw you in some sort of a revenge, or was a complete idiot. I'm a 62 myself, and I've known when to attack and when not to since I was less than 25 on laff thanks to a toon named Rhubarb Bumberwig or somthing like that, among others. Peace.

Half an hour ago I was in HQ waiting to go in, there were eight toons, most high laffers (82, 99, 100s), my 103 laff maxed toon and a 62 laff called "blue duck". Eight toons, eight spaces on the elevator, right? WRONG! Whenever the blue duck got on the lift, the others got off, with "please go aways" etc. Obviously wanted the lift to themselves. Wasting my time and theirs. I made friends with the blue duck - the only one I could see worth making friends with - and left.

[quote=Loosy Goosy]Ugly has a very good point. There seems to be a certain
expectation that the low laffer should follow the lead of the high laffer. This is a deadly assumption. The best way to know for sure what to do is to have a waiting contest. QUOTE] That is very true, Loosy. I have seen that myself being with others in bldgs with folks I haven't played with before. I like to usher in action with the comment "Which way?" Seems to get the idea across that I want to work together but don't know what they want to do. EDIT: Ok Loosy, how do you do that pretty quote thing now. I couldn't find the quote button. LOL!

As long as someone is posting to the thread it will keep popping up. The thread with the most recent post goes to the top of the list. Evidently someone was reading old threads and posted to one bringing it up to the top of the list.

I have met plenty of 90+ laffers who are completely clueless, and I have met people lower laff than myself who had an awesome level of ability to adapt to anyone's play style and pull off what seemed to be a hopeless building/factory run. I am fully aware that I have no idea about the VP or how it works, and I have no intention of being the next person some high-laffer uses as an excuse to shun low-laffers on the elevator. I will learn what I need to know in good time, and have avoided the hassle of dealing with snobs in the meantime. To all the VP/factory snobs out there : Remember, YOU WERE A NOOB TOO AT ONE TIME! You were not born knowing how to beat the VP, and you made your share of gaffes. |
