I don't mind a new toon using a new toy on a bunch of cogs that I have lured.
I
do mind it when they have around 20 laff, come into the factory, jump on the elevator, and *then* proceed to sound my lures. There are just so many things such a toon has to ignore to get to this point. They have to:
- Ignore their toon tasks
- Leave Toontown Central and head of Daisy Gardens
- Evade higher level cogs
- Leave Daisy Gardens for the Sellbot HQ
- Evade even higher level cogs
- Evade the miriad cogs in the HQ and make their way to the factory
- Jump onto the factory elevator, when they probably have never jumped onto a cog building elevator before
Now, I won't be mean to them. I'll exit if all I have is low level toons. Why waste my time? If they have 35 points or more, I will give them a chance. It it becomes clear that they really don't know how to battle, I'll exit. I won't say mean things, I'll just let them learn on their own.
The problem is, I've met too many who sound my lure, get hit by cogs, scream for a toon up, and when I tell them to pass, so I can lure again, they do sound
again, get hit by the cogs again, scream louder that they need a toon up, so I toon them up, they use sound again, they hit him again, they scream for another toon up, and when I'm so low on laff that I run away, they say that I stink.
*sigh* If I can't win, I run.
