Interesting time at VP today

At the elevator there were lots of 60's and 70's a few 80's and 90's and I think my 103 and another 101.

The low boy kept jumping in the elelvator with nothing but his trumpet sound gag. I wispered to him several times, "got Gags" "no" but he didn't get it. He wound up trapped by himself on the elevator and as soon as he was gone the dance stopped and we jumped on and off we went. There were a couple toons that didn't get on the elevator, but all 8 that were on made it with no disc.

My luck I had the lowest laff toons right off the bat. THat was no problem for me and I didn't mind but a couple of them had to be the most ignorant (I mean that in the best possible way) toons at that level I have ever seen. Blowing trumpets on my lure over and over again. It waw very difficult to get through, tune everyone up etc, but we ended the battle at full laff and everyone intact.

Next battle against the skelocogs was easier. Everyone was pretty experienced... high laff and for the most part had good teamwork, but of course there were a couple goofs, including one by myself... but those happen. We got done at full laff and I got to see my first SOS card used. It was a chick toon blowing kisses at us all and said restock of lure, but it didn't do anything to mine...? I am level 6 lure, and was carrying 4, 5, and 6 lures and had used at least one of each, but received none with this SOS, so I don't know what it was suppose to do.

We got done first and ran around to the other side. One toon was gone and one of my toons jumped right in. Tow more bit the dust in the next round, so I tried to join, but for some reason it wouldn't let me and another toon in... for two more turns I think. We got in, we tuned up and ended that battle with a total of 5 toons at full laff to face the VP.

Well the VP battle went well for a while, but we lost two toons along the way and it was just me and two other toons.

My hats off to Princess Lollipop and Little Penny Pedalzapper (hope I got the names right)

These two really carried the battle and the three of us battled for near an hour. Almost had him a couple of times, but he eventually worked his way back up to the caged toon. We stayed there tooning each other up, and trying to get him to move, but he just wouldn't budge. For some reason we no longer could stun him. I couldn't get in a good position below him and at the cage I was throwing too high. I don't know if something was different or what.

It was apperent to me that we were going nowhere fast and I had to go home so I told them a couple times to "run", and that "I have to go". I tried to do a last toon up and alt f4 out.

Moral to the story. When it boils down to it all that was left standing in the VP fight was a 91, 101, and a 103.

I know how you feel.

In one of my battles we had many 100s, 1 53 (back then i was 82). we were doing good and the 53 died early. we managed through the cogs and made it to the v.p. we were putting up a good fight until the newer 100s died. it was just the three of us from here.

Good job Queen Droopy Hulamuffin and Katie cat for putting up such a long fight! we stood there, me attacking (HOW ANNOYING!) and the other two healing and attacking for almost TWO HOURS AND THIRTY MINUTES! (hey, what do you want me to do when i was fighting to save flippy?) eventually, Queen Droopy Hulamuffin logged out. It was me and Kaite Kat. After another 5 minutes, i thought this was pointless and should just leave. (thats me for you!) Still, I have to say, Great Job to Queen Droopy Hulamuffin and Katie Kat!

However, it feels terrible to have a bunch of good people, put up a good fight, and then lose. I feel your pain.

For Flippy I'd have stayed another ten minutes...for LOM, I would have bailed out long before I did!

interesting battle

that's very interesting... Reminds me of my battle today.
My friend and I was in the elevator and we were full... low and behold, 4 jump out at the last second and only 4 of us in to fight. Well thank goodness my friend and I wound up on the same side together. It was 2/2 against the cogs instead of 4/4. The other 2 toons on the other side didn't last long at all. My friend and I lasted through the first phase of cogs, barely... then we teleported back to the playground. It was exciting to play without the 8, but very annoying not being able to go all the way and having to replace parts and merits. Nice learning experience and in the end I was proud of us two making it through what we did, it was close a few times... especially when goggles didn't lure more than once.

Happy cog hunting all!

Ha Ha, just got this months toontown letter and I see that my fellow VP fighter Little Penny Pedalzapper is on the list for most cogs defeiated in the month of November. She is number 5. I can attest to her superior skill!
