Challange: Calling all old school high toons

The updates of 1-8-04 seem to have virtually eliminated the disconnetion problems in the Sellbot VP battle zone. This being the case I challange all of you to stop excluding toons under 90 and see how many/how low of a toon you can take in and still keep alive to the end.

Some of you are sooooooo good, soooooo much better than the rest..... PROVE IT!

If you are really that good, it should be no challange at all to take just one 40 or 50 and keep them alive to the end. I will proxy my crew and see if we can take two or three and try to keep them all alive. Is your crew better? Can you take 4 under 80? Maybe 4 under 70? Just how good are you?

It is time to stop fighting over why you can't stand smaller toons sitting in the VP area as there is no valid reason to not take them anymore. The VP battles seem too easy now that it has been debugged a little more so there is no valid reason to not start taking smaller toons along for the ride! Even if they do unlure some 12's you can just use the same language you do when you take 50's or 60's into a 5 story in DL (you do take on these challanges don't you? or are you too much of a whimp to take risks?).

I WILL CHALLANGE ALL OF MY SF'S AND WILL POST ANY VICTORIES THAT WE HAVE WITH SMALLER TOONS HERE. I CHALLANGE ALL OLD SCHOOL TOONS TO DO THE SAME. MAY THE BEST CREW WIN!

Well... my "crew" has been doing this for some time . We have a 53 laffer that we regularly take in plus my buddies have switched to thier other toons who are significantly weaker. Let's see... 1 is a 73 and the other 84 and mine is a 102 but with weak gags.

Then there is the problems we face getting into an elevator cause most of the high level toons always bail on us, thinking we are to weak. We usually end up going with 1 or 2 other 55 and below toons.

At this point our philosophy is simple, we take almost any toon within reason and if you come along you better know what your doing cause if you jeopardize the team with poor strategy you will get a ton of "you stink", "stop that" and the good old "follow me" "lets work together". If you still don't catch on don't expect a tune up

That's the sprit! The purpose of this is to help everyone get over the recent battles that were caused by the poor timing of an underdeveloped new area. What we got was an alpha or beta release on a pay server. They didn't take the time to get the bigs out on their test server and we all paid the price in the form of fighting among the classes of toons. We need to bring it back in line and come to our collective senses. I was one of those toons that didn't take 60's through a factory run and also woudln't dream of going with them into a VP battle. Now that the code is more stable, it's time for us all to rethink our position on this and no better way that to lay down a challange.

Good for you guys! My hope is that the majority of 'crews' will follow a simular model. Take along your own lower toon friends and take any you come across within reason. That is the way it should be, just as it is in DL. There will always be those that do not take any lower toons no matter what and there is nothing you can do for those players.

I'm not really into dragging out one of my big toons to help. I really don't enjoy playing them once they get too big.

My smallest toon is a 59laff, that I was planning on keeping out of HQ forever. He's yet to even open the picture on the map.

I'm now getting tired of him, and need a challenge. The idea of becoming a level 12 Hollywood as a 100+ laffer isn't fun for me. The idea of doing it as a 59laffer is.

If your looking for a mid laffer. I'd like to donate mine.

ms peaches is one of my 'crew' (not that it is MY crew, I'm really no leader lol) so she is saying she is up for a run with any of us and some lower toons too.

One sf of mine beat me to it and already helped a 43 this morning (I think that is what she said) to beat the VP! Can't wait to see the details posted on that. I just got Baron Tricky McKlunk ready for a run and will look to do that in an hour or so depending on my friends. I will go without any of them, but its more fun with at least one sf inside to share a story with afterwords.

and ugly, 'hold his own'... I'd say! nice toon I don't think anyone would have a problem going with a 59 that has 6, 6th level gags! only thing that makes you different from a 10x is bag size and you need a toonup more often/quicker. No doubt you havae the power to go. If I see you in the HQ, I will take you with no problem at any time.

I'd love to help a low laff thru VP now that I know what I am doing and all the bugs are gone.

Now that I've been through my visit with the VP a few times now, I'm not nearly as stressed out about lower laff toons getting in. I do think that there needs to be a significant number of 90+ laffers (definitely several with maxed out toonups and/or lure) on board.

There are certainly a large number of us out there that are jumping off when theres only one or two lower level toons on the elevator, and by constantly jumping off, you're doing us high level toons a disfavor! I wanna go! We can get through the endless rounds of cogs without us all being over 100laff. As long as they know how to jump, they'll make it to the end.

Ok, so its not endless cogs. Last time I counted and I got 17 completed cogs and 18 skeleton cogs. Does that sound right?

Finally, the title of this thread sounds a little off. I may be old school, but I'm not high... Oh, you meant high in laff points. My bad.
