84 laffers with all maxxed gags?

Hmm, I have run into them before, but last night when I played with a couple I started thinking.

How can an 84 laffer have ALL their gags maxxed and I mean ALL of the gag tracks to. To have everything, toonup, trap, lure, sound, throw, squirt, and drop.

Can you really skip that many laff point tasks? And if you've skipped them, does that mean you have screwed your toon? Will those points be offered later? Does that mean that toon won't reach 100 at this point?

I have been told that I have had high gags for my laff since i had like 60 lp. If that's true, it's only because i spent quite some time with a few of my friends just keeping stars over our heads.

For a long time, i didn't really spend a lot of time working on my tasks and managed to max out 4 of my gags without worrying about it. My lp tasks are still fine and I'm working on the last ones that will max me out...plus the 3 fishing lps.

Sometimes it gets old working the tasks but it's fun sticking with your friends....

There are only 1 type of toon that has ALL gag tracks and that is developers, if you see a toon (doesn't matter the laff) that has all gag tracks you have just found a developer as regular toons are not ever offered the last gag track so your always missing one.

It all depends on how tenaciously you work on your own tasks.

If you spend a lot of time helping other toons (especially in buildings and/or invasions) you will build up your gags early. Hence, you will see 60 laff toons with level 6 gags.

If the toon focuses on tasks (and chooses generic tasks), they can get to be a 100 laff toon and still not have any level 6 gags. I have toon who didn't get the storm until he was 87 laff - his only level 6 gag was the cake. He is now 97 and almost done with two more laff boost tasks. I fully expect that he will be 101 laff and still have only throw and squirt at level 6, with the other gags at level 5.


Now, if by ALL gag tracks you really mean *ALL* gag tracks (all seven), then what you saw was a Disney developer that works on the Toontown program and was using a special toon to test something on the production servers.

You don't skip laff tasks. You just don't take them. They are still offered. After you have completed all of the just for fun tasks, and the JB tasks, all they will offer you is laff tasks. Your toon is stuck there until you complete those tasks. No bigger bags, you can't carry more JB's.

You can just keep playing without picking those tasks up. You end up staying small. You can't advance to the next playground, nor can you advance to the last two parts of DDL tasks either. You must complete the required laff task to advance.

I'm not sure how things have changed since fishing was introduced.
On my last toon I avoided laff tasks at all costs.
I wish I would have written these down.
I finished TTC as a 23laff (I think)
I finished DD as a 32laff (I think)
I finshed DG as a 40laff (I think)
I finshed MM as a 48laff
I finshed TB as a 59laff
I don't think Disney will allow you to advance to the next playgrounds until your atleast that high. (someone correct me if I'm wrong about the first three playgrounds)

Typically if you lower than you should be, your given an extra generic cog anywhere task to make up points. If you avoid the extra one long enough, they will let you pass. I'm pretty sure they won't allow you to get more than 2 points down.

Eventually your toon will end up as high as everyone elses. I have heard of a bug, where you end up 2 or 3 points lower at the end of TB and DDL. I've read that people have contacted Disney, and Disney has given them the points to correct the bug. It's never happened to me personally.

If i didn't like a task or the reward, i just wouldn't choose them. I did a lot of shopping around and waited to get the ones that help you progress in the game, give you tp access or jellybeans. Sometimes i didn't have a task open at all.

I'm really not interested in the just for fun invisible, flat head, small toon, etc gags so i waited until the game would let me pick a meaningful one.

If you know you're going to be in SHQ, shop around for the sellbot tasks that can be done anywhere. That's how i'm gonna max out my toon.

It is possible for toons to have all of the gags maxed out any time after the end of the blizzard wizard (after they open up their 6th track). All they need to do is help friends or strangers and not work on any of their laff point goals. I had maxed out everything by the time I was in the low 90's because of higher level friends. I helped them with their goals a lot more then working on my own just for the company and the challanges of the tasks they were working on. I am still amazed when I come across a 10x with only one 6th level gag.

Technically you could have all your gag tracks (except the one you didn't take) maxed out with only 61 laff (post-LOM). It wouldn't be too hard. Not as miserable as, say, a 15 laffer with max throw and squirt. I guess you'd have to be pretty bored to work a toon like that, but there were some majorly bored players before fishing and HQ came out to open. I wouldn't be surprised to see it.

My friend smart dog has all gags maxed and had them maxed since she was a 60 she just started getting laugh points b/c of cog hq.
