I went into the coin mint with my 111 toon whose buck requirement is still very low. I didn't really care who went in with me, I figured I would deal with it and so when I found myself with some 50-60 laffers -- no big deal. Except...

The 60 laffer had about 12 of his laff left and immediately whipped out an aoogah and told us all the obvious "I need a toonup". Despite the "no's" etc., he would not put it away. One of the low laffers chose a kiss for the down-in-laffer and the other did nothing or attack a cog with a gag that didn't have a snowball's chance of killing.

I decided to use a foghorn with him hoping that I would take the greater hits. Well, toonup missed and the cogs did their fair share of damage on the low-laff horn blower and he went sad shouting "You Stinks" at me.

I don't remember quite what happened next...whether I tooned the others or just tried lure but I do know that lure failed TWICE and we lost the other two who also left saying stinky things.

Hey, I did my best! Maybe my strategy wasn't what someone else would have done... But, my low-laff toons have been sent back to the playground many, MANY times because of someone else's poor strategy...it happens.

In the "be my friend" department you don't have to be a highlaffer to get those requests. My 47 laff, 6-gag carrying UberNoob decided to get a cashbot suit. He was assulted with so many friend requests from those with 70-100 laff I finally had to change districts to get away from the whispers. I rarely make friends with people with whom I haven't played and I rarely keep those drive-by friends that do get made.

Oh my! Did you all notice that this is a 14 month old thread? Talk about digging up the dead!

Captain_Bingo_Paddleswirl, back when this was a new topic (more than a year ago!!!!!!!!!!!) the . . . ZZZ . . . would remain over your head for more than a few seconds. You could spoof people into thinking you were really asleep, Disney has since changed it so that we cannot do that. This is why it isn't very helpful to respond to DEAD TOPICS lol.

This game works like real life. The popular become powerful, as for the others they have to work hard for it. Since there are different people controlling toons, there will always be diffrent outcomes. Some toons deserve 117 laff more then others. TT isnt fair, we have to learn to deal with it. Not all people who should get high laff will get it. How some toons act may be influenced by the higher 112+ toons out there.

Dont fret about things not going your way, things will not be fair some times. People might not want to be your friend because of race, toons parts color, gags, laff what ever. Just play the game where all the same, were all toons fighting for the same cause, respect each other and kill those cogs, or die yourself!

After referring to a lot of the posts in this thread, I have to agree with a few of you.

The people who are more social in school and life, are the ones who have more friends, and like to lead their own gang or friends. They can go different ways though. Some go to the goodside, which is leading toons to victory, or hanging out being nice and laughing. But there is also the badside toons get led to. Which is when they have the feeling that they own everything and everyone. They make bossy and rude remarks at lower toons for just...existing. And when sometoon makes as little as a mistake of saying the wrong thing, for example, toon1 says "Go for the strongest cog", toon2 says "No". But if toon1 were to take the time to think about common mistakes, they'd notice that "Yes" is right above the phrase "No", and that "Ok" is right below it. So what? Loss of coordination is common these days in toontown! Back on topic, what I mean is if you talk a lot more in life, and have people who actually follow your lead, you could end up to be any of the mentioned above. But, if you aren't too social in school and or life, you could end up following a toon's lead, or even worse, being a well, nobody. Which is very rare to have a toon at say...50 laff and never got offered to be anyone's friend or sf, and you never offered anyone. THAT is too rare to even think about!

So, importantly, stay social; but even more importantly, be yourself, make new friends, keep the old, yata yata yata...

You have a good point there. People who are social are not afraid to go further, and succeed with their toon. People who are shy in real life, and afriad of others, might have problems with their toon. My toons stats almost perfectly resembles how I'am at school. I'am not a person who is always in a happy mood and wants to help smaller toons, or a person who makes fun/acts mean toward others. I can be either way depending how things are going.

Lure was the best choice in that situation, that's what I would have done too. In the last few days, however, I've had lure miss frequently, 2 or even 3 times. As a matter of fact, yesterday in CFO, Lure missed 3 times, so we decided to fog, guess what, that missed too! The other side finished before we did and they were obviously getting frustrated with us, but, it's not like we were playing badly.

Back on topic, and yes I know this thread is over a year old, but it's still relevant.

I generally don't care when mid laffers jump into a bullion run with me, with one exception: I don't do bullions with 3 mid laffers. Why not? Because I don't plan to "carry" 3 toons through. Don't get me wrong, many are very good players but I'm in there for cogbucks, not gag experience points. I need to defeat every single cog. The issue becomes one of gags (number of, sometimes level of), and yes, I know there are gags in the bullion, I've been in there plenty of times. I cannot be expected to lure up to 11 times, I don't carry that many multi lures, not to mention that it's not uncommon for lure to miss in there. Yes, the other toons may have decent lures, but some of the floors don't have more than 2-3 gag barrels and what am I supposed to do if those barrels don't contain useful gags? Don't expect me to unite or sos restock you because I can't, I don't have any left.

So, if I stink because I won't take 3 mid laffers through, so be it, "I don't care."

2 high laff and 2 mid laff, is a different story, I don't have an issue with that.

Hmmmm, I guess that wasn't really the topic of this thread LOL! Don't ask my 112 to be friends with your low/mid laff toon. I will always say no because our goals are different. I'm not interested in retrieving soccer balls or keys or lumpy cheeses, I won't help you with those tasks, so having me on your friends list is a waste of space on your part, not to mention that I don't have room in the first place.

It may be digging up the dead, but your opening post is just as relevant now if not even more so!
