Old What's appropiate LP that a toon should have to battle in the Cog HQ?

I agree with everything you said except this part. Some people just don't have the time to max out their gags. I don't have maxxed gags and I can still go in to the V.P. and be a good member of our team, I am even better than some of the other toons there. I know what to expect and I know what to do when somthing goes wrong. I think that you should have three or four level 6 gags, not six maxxed level 6 gags. I do agree that you have to have at least 90 laff though.

Just wanted to reply

Yeah I admit Skitzow is a super noob but let me put in this perspective. I have and some of my friends have battled the Vp with as little as 5 players(remember all the disco's?). It isn't that hard. I think this all is a problem with communication between high laffers and low laffers. I think most of the problems could be solved by simply adding more friendly more precise speedchat phrases so that a group of high laffers who have been working together can tell the lower laffer something like "Sorry, we have 8 already". I don't think however that the lower laffers should be banned from the area. As high laff toons we should be teaching the lower laffers how to play.

hmmm

I can understand all points of view. This is a personal preference. However, I do feel that some people are forgetting that there are toons out there that are children. Children that are maybe 6 years old. As children are naturally curious, why wouldn't they want to try a vp battle or a factory run? I know my daughter started playing when she was 6... just turned 7 a month ago. She wanted to go to factory, I took her. (2 accounts). Her toons are 35 - 50 laff. The point of the game for her is to have fun and explore. I don't expect all toons to have the same goals of maxxed laff and gags as I do. Some are like my daughter, just like to play around and take others to her toon house and show off her furniture. hee hee. She's not "goal-oriented". I admire all toons that embrace the fact that other toons like to do this too. Also, if you're very goal-oriented and working for that level 12 Hollywood suit, More power to you!

My toon is a 98 laff and not maxxed in all her gags. Just got level 6 toonup and still working on level 6 sound. She's a level 4 Cold Caller. Thank goodness toons did not refuse to take me with them because I'm not maxxed on my gags.

Have fun everyone! No matter what your strategy is, just have fun!

80 points at one round is what I call a disaster. That's where strategy comes in. I'm kind of suprised they came after you when all you did was an attempted Lure. Usually it's a single sounder that gets that much attention.
Actually the other 3 were healing from the previous missed lure . 3 of the 12's hit us with AOE attacks, and one cog targeted me directly.

I agree with you that they should have been killing one of them, but I guess that is the price you pay when you go in with inexperienced toons.

laff is obviously an important factor in VP. Sure a 62 laffer with all maxxed gags is of some use but what if because his fog horn did the most damage, all the cogs are gonna attack him. 4 lvl 12s attack you and you are gone. This is why a resonable laff is needed for the VP.

50+ for factory

For vp:
65+ at first
70+ after one 65-70 toon
75+ after one 70-75 toon

And so on
