Can some of you guys please keep this in mind?

Just because you have higher laff gives you no reason to treat lower laff wrongly. I'm a 51 laffer and I went into teh factory with a 6o laff, a 24 laff, and a 102 laff. We were at teh Center Silo Control room when I went sad. First the 24 laffer went sad then me and the 66 laffer went sad at the same time. The 102 laffer said 'haha!' when the 24 laffer went sad. He kept saying things like 'You Stink!' to him all through the factory. And he was perfectly helpful for a 24 laffer! He had level 4 squirt and throw. I think the 102 laffer wanted to be the last one satnding and win! I wouldn't have went sad if his goggles worked But please, try not to use 'You Stink!'. That just makes them want to show them up more.

"You stink!" is one of the best speedchats in the game, don't you
think? Young toons use it toward old toons alike. Haven't you
noticed how many times < L20 laffers (especially L15's) use "You
stink!" when you don't accept their offer of friendship? Now if the
24 laffer was one of these "max'd cake/squirt/toonup" toons
then "You stink!" might be a little harsh because they can actually
make a difference, but the fact of the matter is, the factory is no
place for the average squirtgun & cream pie toting L24 laffer.

Ooooh let's see, they can carry 30 gags? "Well isn't that special!"
Why is it so hard to comprehend that these average-build
<25 laffers should be working on building their character instead of
taking up space in a factory run? There are no bonus experience
points in there. Tasking in there is a lame excuse.

No, "You stink!" is an excellent stress-reliever for all those higher
toons who have had the frustration of seeing these very same
toons building a full suit, then taking up space on the VP lift when
another more worthy toon could be in there who could actually
make a difference in the VP battle. Sounds like the 102 laffer
understands the inevitable result of a 24 laffer making it through
the factory. "You stink!" is an appropriate payback for all the
times 102> laffers are told that in the TTC playground

It was the Higher Toon that was saying 'You Stink!'. You wanna know why? Because sometimes he didn't get a chance to use his stupid drop or squirt gag. Instead teh 24 laffer used throw and it killed the cog. The high laffer was pertty rude.

But I know what you mean. L15-L25 laffers use that speedchat phrase alot.

Talking Stuck up problem

I don't have the ultimate toon yet however I'm not a noobie either. I have 83laffs, maxxed squirt and throw, level 5 toon up, sound and drop, and only level 2 trap but I'm working on that. I also know strategy in battle.

However, I have noticed how some maxxed toons have no sense of decency when it comes to dealing with lower laff toons. We had one last night that booked on us in the factory. We had a 32laffer and a 54laffer with us.

I don't see that the factory is really that difficult if you have 2 higher level toons. It should be a walk in the park. It's a lot easier than a 5+ law bot building in dreamland.

I guess those stuck up maxxed toons just are to high up on their horses to lend a hand to others.

At least in a 5-story building the <25 can actually grow their
character by waiting until the top floor to use their gags. In the
factory there is no real benefit to them other than getting
parts for their suit, which will cause problems down the road
when they wind up in the VP Lobby. I must emphasize that toons
that build a level 25 "max toon" variant (ala Skitzow) are the
exception. At least they can actually make a positive contribution
to the battle, instead of a negative one by knocking back level 12
skelies with their cream pie slices—followed by NOT being able to
adequately heal their teammates after their feable attempt to attack.

Edit: Don't lay that "STUCK UP" bull on high laffers. If you haven't
had "You stink!" thrown at you for not accepting a 15 laffer's
friend request, then you don't know what you're talking about.

My Mood:
Loosy- you are a toon after my own toon heart!!
And I second your sentiments 100%!

OMG!! When will they ever 'get' it??
Go build your toon!!

Instead of whining about the big ol bad high laffers not being nice enough to carry them through the factory and VP battle- go work your tasks and build your toon so you don't need to leech off of another toons hard work and effort and you can contribute to the battles at hand.

The 102 laffer could have been much more polite though.

change in attitudes

Cog HQ has brought out some bad behavior all arround. I have had to change the way I play because of it. The fact that everyone has access to it and it toons under 50 laff swarm like flies arround it is horrible. first they are all following you arround asking to be your friend when there is no space, then they tell you you stink constantly because you tell them "sorry, I cant", and they continously teleport to you again and again. then they get in you way when you try to get into the elevator to make a factory run, they won go by themselves they all want the high laffers to go with them (and them only, cant have any other low laffers trying to go with them , no). I used to not worry about them and make my run with a friend, and if any stowaways came and kept up with us, no problem i thought. A factory run with extra baggage doesnt waste my time. Then on to the VP where everything changes. I spent a few hours getting my parts and some very low laffers want to go with the biggest toons they can find, and wont let the big toons go. This wastes a hour of time doing the elevator dance. If we let them go along they will definitely go sad, we will loose and I have to waste another couple of hours getting parts again.
So I have changed the way I play, I used to help out eveyone no matter what. Now it is the higher laff toons that have to take on the roll of suit gardian. If you are a 50 or less laff toon and you stow away with me on the elevator I will bring you all the way to the center silo and then you are on your own. I usually will pass my first two turns on the center silo, this weeds out anyone that should not have a cog suit. Because if I pull them through and hand them their suit on a silver platter this will waste someone elses time when they try to stowaway on the VP elevator. I figure this way the low laff toon that stowed away with me has wasted no one elses time, other than their own.
Now I have seen larger toons, in retaliation, getting on the elevator, and teleporting out of the factory right away, to their friend still waiting in front of elevator. This works I guess but I dont do this, I like to give them the whole factory tour, this keeps the "young toons" off the steet where they are causing trouble

I think Bunny Summers has the best idea to deal with the "you stink!" ("Phew!", "Yes", "Let's work on that".) I haven't got a "Huh?" response yet, but I did get a couple of "Ha ha!". I also see a lot of 40-60 laffers be nice when you say "Sorry, I can't", I hate to group them all together when they don't deserve to be. It's just as bad as grouping the high laff toons together and saying they are all stuck up.

On a side note, I was planning on taking my 44 laff toon through the factory, JUST ONCE, because she has needed a key from The Mingler for a long time and hasn't found it yet. Why is it wrong to do that since she's working in DG and Sellbot hq is so convenient to take care of that particular task. If they, 40-60 laffers, aren't supposed to be there why make it so accessible to them? Just because the maxed toons have been waiting for cog hq to come out doesn't mean they have exclusive rights to it!!

Cool! I think that's a great way to complete those types of tasks,
but it would be better for you to go with someone who knows
what your intentions are, rather than picking random factory runs
and suffering the enslaught of critism for being in there in the first place.

Sure you say to yourself "what business is it of other toons what
I'm doing in the factory?" The point is, they DON'T know what
you're doing in there, and they assume that you want to
ultimately fight the VP at L44. Therein lies the dilemna. Folks will
deal with that in their own way. You on the other hand are better
off having a secret friend or two go with you to get your KEY, so
that you are not harassed.

On our lower toons we have purposely picked Mingler and Two-face tasks now that cog HQ is open. Most likely I will go in with a friend, but havent't always. However, I announce my intentions boldly at the elevator, e.g. "I need ro recover a key from Minglers" That way the others know what I am looking for and will usually accept that. If they don't want to help they will usually tell you somehow.

I'll bet aurora could get random people to understand the intentions of the run simply by saying, "I need to recover a key from The Minglers." "Can you help me?" when next to the elevator. This would work, assuming that (A) the higher-laffs are smart enough to understand what it means, and (B) they're friendly enough to help out. Friends would probably be more willing to help, though. I've never been one much to rely on secret friends, but that's probably because I was around 60 laff or so before getting any that I saw on a regular basis (i.e., I had a lot of practice learning how to work with non-friends).

This too can be a bogus ploy to get parts. All a toon has to do is
stop at that task and keep that speedchat phrase available for
just such a plea. I'm not saying it's common, but it would be a
great idea hehe
