Question What do these SOS Cards MEAN?

I see these great graphics regarding the SOS cards. But what do they do? I have 3 Sticky Lous ... I have 3 Mr. Freeze. I have No Idea how to use them. I had a restock squirt ... everyone says that cards is worthless. Well ... LOL ... today, I was in a 5 story with two other toons. One of them ... on the FIRST floor said ... I need gags! I thought I was going to scream. But I had this great SOS card. LOL ... he was trying to take down a level 10 cog with a squirt gun!! But at least he had Something!! LOL ...

Anyway ... Is there a link (that I just can't seem to find) that explains in detail what these SOS cards actually do? What is Cogs Miss ... What is Cogs Hit.

We all have different needs for the SOS cards. Once I understand what they do ... then I can get my book straight and collect what I need.

Thanks for your help!

This reminds me of the day when Sara was a 45 laffer, and saw her first toon got SOSed. Here is how they work:

So, you need a big help from somebody in a battle, eh? Use an SOS! Just click on SOS(or help or something along those lines) in the bottom right left corner of your gag screen, and then look at the cards. Read what they say, for instance, if you need more squirt, choose "Restock Squirt". Or, if you're down on tu and laffpoints, or maybe they need to stop hitting, choose "Toons Hit" or "Cogs Miss." The starts judge how good they are. 5 stars is very rare(possibly) and very good, and 1 star is pretty bad. :/ But it doesn't matter, they all have a use. Sometimes, you don't know what they do from reading it, so just a choose a card and hope it helps! I hope I answered your question.

There is a list of all of the SOS cards HERE but as for what they do.....

Restock ...squirt, throw, lure, trap, etc is self-explanatory I think. A toon pops up and throws a kiss...and some gags. Professor Pete is the best, he restocks ALL your gags.

If it says at the top: Toon up, Sound, Trap, Lure, Drop It will have a toon pops up and uses the appropriate gag. The higher the star rating, the more effective the gag the toon will use. My favorite is Drop. Four pianos dropped on a row of cogs rocks!

Cogs Miss cards have a toon pop up and throw pixie dust on the cogs. It's kinda funny because the cogs giggle and laugh. After that, for ONE ROUND the cogs might TRY to hit you, but alas, they will miss.

Toons hit is the opposite of Cogs Miss. For ONE ROUND none of the toons' gags will hit. That means no lure missing, no sound missing, no cogs swerving out of the way...no matter WHAT the toons that use a gag will hit. Make sure it counts!

I hope this helps a little. If anyone sees a mistake, please correct it.

When I first started playing I was confused about SOS cards too.

Good luck!

In battle whenever you need help, click SOS, you'll probably see your cards. Each card has a special ability, some better than others (like stars). Five star cards are the rarest and best- probably the most likely to hit too. The three star SOS cards are more popular and probably won't have a better chance of hittting as the five star SOS cards. So you hit SOS and then you see your cards, it will say the ability of the card somewhere on it. Like 'Lure', or 'Restock Lure'. These coming in handy all the time, but they're special, so don't use them all at once!

To add to what people have said above and to clarify why certain restocks are regarded as bit useless.

Apart From Prof Pete, all other restocks fill with a certain gag type.

Problem is unlike Pete who restocks all gags evenly (usually back to what u had to start, unless u have unusual setup), the other restocks fill you with loads of the one type of gag, untill your gags are full.

This means that you will have lots of little useless gags, and heres the big downside, no space to fill with anything else.

Example, you are doing a long mint, you've done a pipe room and boiler room (7 sets of cogs) u've used a lot of your gags, all of sound most of pies, all of squirt. Seems one of the restock rooms is never gonna come up, someone decides to use restock squirt, filling you with all squirt, then set of barrrels with sound and cakes come along, but you have no space! Now your thinking, doh, i cud of done with some of those others.

So restock of gag type, can be good if your desperate or as a top-up right near end, but used at wrong time cud be very akward.

This is why a lot of peeps don't regard them as very useful.

Only one that contradicts above for lots of peeps is restock sound, as in these long runs, 4 full sounding toons will spread sound around, to quickly pass through, so restock sound is useful here, as they can use more highest sound, which speed things up even further, then restock, and continue on. With this plan in action, restock sound becomes desirable.

Lol no still not right, what they were sposed to say was:-

Altho if the rest of the setence is read properly, i think it becomes clear enough to most
