since this post is about the vp thing, i must say something.... please, when ppl on on the elevator for vp, they want to fight with u, so why do u go on, then jump off. my friend and i had 5/8 ppl jump off at the last second. he turned his comp. off right away, but i turned mine off 1st. and he got to go back in, because he diddnt lose any pieces, i on the other hand lost 4 pieces. the point is, u get on the elevator, stay on, and dont be mean and cruel

Sorry if i have jump off on you but if you see all the people jumping off why stay there there is no way 4 people or even 5 are going to make it to the end unless you have a lot of sos toons
but if you want to fight the V.P. ill go with you ill fight till we die if you want but once we whip the cogs like in my first post im out the V.P. is all yours in no way do i want to get all 1000 merits to go down to the V.P. over takes to long and to much time

I have done this a few times myself to help friends but you don't need to bail so early. Wait till the vp is near the edge then do the old alt f4 see you later

Coincidently, the friends I help are 50-70'ish laffers and I would rather take them in then any random maxed toon!!!

Most still don't understand that the game is about conserving your gags and using them wisely not throwing a birthday cake at a level 1 cog, LOL.

Post when you plan on being there and where. I may bring "popcorn..." over for a battle the vp and ditch fest

Kay am I understanding this right? You will take any toon to battle the vp, help them defeat the cogs, and then when the all the cogs are gone and its time to smack down the vp over the edge you want to bail?

I am not understanding the logic here.

Ok, what Apple is saying is this:

He is already a level 12 Mr. Hollywood. In order to get there, he had to complete 10,000 merits in addition to gathering cog suit pieces.

Since there are no further promotions (as of now at least), if he were to be a part of the group at the victory dance after defeating the VP, he would have to get cog suit pieces AND 10,000 merits again before he can participate in the VP battle again.

This is a bug, because if there are no further promotions after Mr. Hollywood level 12, then you should not have to gather merits again. Merits are only required for purposes of promotion. Hence, no more promotions should = no more merits required!

As mentioned in an earlier reply, so long as you are not present for the victory dance, you will not have to do merits again, but just cog suit pieces.

yea i guess i could stick around a little longer till vp is on bottom platform thanks for the i deal im a little slow some times haha and think i will next time thanks for the input
