105 LP and still no respect!

I have been playing this game for a long time, and opted to work on toontasks instead of fighting the VP. Now I have 105 LPs and am a level 3 cold caller.
I can't get anyone to let me on the elevator (although reading the CCG it says members should) and other toons are very mean.
How can I make it to be a Mr. H if no one will help?

Try joining the CCG. There are no grifers and are rally a big hit. My 1st vp with them was really good.

Thanks for the info...I did submit a request to join the CCG, and I'm still waiting to hear back from someone (sent it this morning?).

I did the same thing, they won't let me in XC I got to Mr. Hollywood by asking friends for help and setting specific dates to VP on my clans.
Here's my advice:

Try making a clan that will help you.
Join a clan that VPs when you do.

I don't understand why you get treated this way! I got to hollywood about 2 months ago when I was 107, and it only took me 2 years! lol
Most people think that CC's are fair-gamers aka, 45-60 laffs. They don't bother clicking on you because they think you're a good for nothing newbie.

I hope this helps, and try to become invisible, small toon, or something like that to attract attention to yourself in the lobby to get toons to click on you.

Hey, you don't have to be a member to roll with the CCG .

Just go with them any time if you can to VP. This thread tells you about the times and the rules.

Have fun!

My thanks to a very nice toon

Thanks very much to Little Sally Twinkletoes....she helped me get on the elevator......and it came down to 3 of us at the end fighting the VP with our pies alone......I died, but not after a long fight. Hopefully, the other two made it.
My hope is restored in toons once again!

Lots of toons don't want to get in the elevator with cold callers. People assume that all cold callers have low lp. Now I am a lvl.3 name dropper (just won the VP today and got Julias Wheezer!).

I know how that is sometimes, I have a friend who had just started V.P when he was about 100 life. he made me laugh alot when hesaid I was a lvl 1 cold caller with 100lps. i always love looking at lower suit toons because of that. One time i think I had more than half the team with 100lp cold callers. It was funny. Anyways I suggest going into more quiet districts with less people so the toons that are there, look at you since your one of the only one's there. or try going in when everyone else has already gone in. This really helps because also one time I got a full 100lps up team with me the only one under 100 laff.

I didn't VP with randoms until I hit telemarketer. All of my low suit work was with CCG. And if you have a run where people are shuffling on the elevator on a CCG run, report it to a CCG ambassador. When I go on a CCG run I get on the elevator and I don't get off for anything.

It's not unusual to see high laff/low suit toons in VP. Sometimes it surprises me, but it's actually a GOOD surprise if you ask me!

And believe the Horse, (Cool Crumblepow), she's helped me and my friend through many a building and task. I'm willing to help too! Drop me a PM and we'll find a time to play!

Also, maybe try the TCB, they have alot of higher laffers to help. They also don't care what your suit is.

Hah, I know what thats like.
But hey, there are always people that will hop in. And also, wait by the side-lines untill you see a good load going in, the more good people, the less picky people are if there is 1 or 2 Cold Callersin the elevator! I'm so happy I maxed a few weeks ago! No more shuffle! xD But yeah, I'd gladly take you in, my new thing now is that I like to go in with all Low Suits to help them get through without shuffle, the problem with that is they think I'm going to hop off, so they hop off at the last second and I'm stranded. o_O

Anyway, good luck!! Remember that there is always at least one nice toon in the bunch. Grab a bunch of SFs if you need to and go with them! That works too! Also, try the CCG

Good luck,
Hannah

Just to be clear, you do not need an approval or message of acceptance to join the CCG runs. All toons are welcome, no matter the laff or suit size. We do ask that you familarize yourself with our guidelines, especially the no shuffling one.

You just have to show up at one of the listed runs, wait with all the other toons in the Sell HQ pit till it's run time, then everyone heads to the lobby and loading begins.

Becoming a member of CCG is a personal choice but is not required.

That is the one thing that can be irritating about VP is that you aren't guaranteed a minimum lp for the suit, unlike cash and law. Since you get it by doing the factories you can have a low laffer 16 or 17 points or a high laffer, 124 (maxed everything but vp).

I'm maxed in bosses on one toon and a two-face (i think) on my other toon. I will load with anyone in any of the bosses because I know the suit only tells the experience of that toon in the boss not the experience of the person behind the toon. I've seen a Hollywood that was a 17 laffer (uber) and I've seen your case where you are a cold caller at 105.

Good luck in getting up past cold caller. Cold caller guild is real good to run with and have fun in the game.
