Edit: Lemme' re-word that better cuz I'm just making it more confusing (sorry), I'm probably going to attempt a 2-man VP soon after the CFO 2-man. My partner is kinda weaker in the gag area then I am, so I was thinking if we did eventually do a 2-man VP, if this glitch could help him out during the skelecog round. If we could make it through the cog round together & come out dancing (saying we beat the VP pie round), that'd make me feel content, maybe even if we had to glitch a bit to make it past the skelecogs. 2-manning the 1st cog round & the pie round is a big enough accomplishment for me. But, mainly I'm wondering if that's how it works in a 2-man if you were to do the glitch? That's all. Last edited by Shika; 08-22-2007 at 04:55 AM. |

I say do it
Are you talking about the walking around in battle glitch?
If you don't mind doing it, and your friend does not mind doing it, then do it. No point in posting for people's responses. The only two people that could possibly be harmed are you and your friend. Right? And the harm that could occur is that you disconnect or you lose. Your actions do not affect anyone else playing Toontown whatsoever, unless you somehow cause the game server to crash. Which you won't. But if you get brought into both battles then you will have a hard time because you are now being attacked by two sets of cogs, but one set you have no control over. If you both battle walk, and you each go into the other's battle, then you are separated again. I would not do it. But let us know how it works out.

Here’s an update on what I’ve found trying this. The first time I did this the toon that switched sides went sad because he kept getting hit by the cogs on both sides and it was too hard to keep him tooned and fight the cogs at the same time.
Attempt 2 the toon that switched lived with one 10 point TU unite. There was a lone 12 at the start of the second round. That 12 was lured and then the toon switched sides. Once the 12 unlured he would hit the switching toon every round for 20 points. Since the 12 was never hit with an attack gag no replacement cogs came out. The original 12 is the only cog on that side. Attempt 3 there were four cogs on the side of the switching toon. The four cogs were lured with presentation and then the toon switched sides. The cogs on the other side were fought as quickly as possible so the four cogs on the other side would not hit the switching toon after the presentation wore off. The cogs on the other side did unlure right at the end of the round and the toon that switched was down to 38 points for the pie fight. The most important part if anyone tries this is that after all the cogs are defeated by the 2 toons the toon that did not switch sides has to finish the fight against the cogs on the side that was abandoned. The toon that switched sides cannot return and fight those cogs but the cogs remain (the toon can line up in the battle and choose gags but those gags don't work). The toon that switched sides will keep getting hit by those cogs until they are defeated. This means that the toon that did not switch should save enough regular gags if there is one 12 or have strong lure and level 7 throw or squirt for a group of cogs. If the cogs aren’t defeated quickly on the abandoned side the toon that switched will go sad since there is no way to toon him. I would guess unites would be the only other way to save him.
