LGZ and Beautifully Broken Solo CJ!

First of all I would like to thank

B.J., Princess Pearl Sprarkleswirl, Tub O Lard, King Ricky, and Beautifully Broken for the practice runs. Also, Jenny thanks for convincing me.

I was doing some CFOs when Jenny said she'll be soloing the CJ soon, she said we should do a double and solo at the same time. I said OK! I was convinced pretty fast. I havn't been fishing a lot anymore so decided I'll just get this outta the way since my original plan to solo after I max my pig was taking too long. Also Conggrats Miss Jenny on your solo!

My first practice I did pretty bad, mainly because I seated 2. The second time 5, and I would have won it if I had a max tu.. I ended up running though. My 3rd try I seated 3.. I didn't lose too much laff until about 30 mins in, however, it took way too long and I gave up. 4th try I won using two 40 tu unites seating 4. My 5th try, I won with only getting down to 87 laffpoints! That time I seated 5.

THE COGS

The cogs were pretty easy, my lure I couldn't belive was actually working. It missed on the first 2 cogs, and I said, oh great this is going to be like my CFO solo. Well, next thing I knew lure hit 10 times in a row, missed once, and hit 2 more! After the first set of 12s I thought I was done, but then I forgot I had to kill the other sides set of cogs. I was pretty devistated you know.. so I then started speeding up and using more SOS and being less selfish about them.

The cogs ended up taking 31 minutes.. I was bored.. with this after about 5... there was a total of 56 cogs

THE CANNONS

We all know this is the scariest part of everyones CJ solo. If this goes wrong you wasted all of the precious SOS and unites. At the end of the cannons I was mad.. but not for the reasons you expect. Well.. we all know most people shoot at 25 seconds left because then the cogs won't recover your seats. That's how I did all my practice rounds except the first anyways. To be safe, however, I started shooting at 23 seconds. I was doing really good, the pressure was helping. I got 1.. then 2.. then 3.. then 4.. then 5.. then I got 6! I thought yay! At the last second though, a cog took a seat. I was like what!! I got over it though.. 5 was enough I guess.

THE SCALE

I wasn't worried with this at all going in with 5.. I got too excited though, and finished with 51 laffpoints, no unites used. Not how I wanted to finish, but I didn't mind. I solod it!

I used the walk back jump forward technique mostly. I walked backwards to avoid the evidence the side cogs threw at me, and jumped forward when I saw the 8 cogs evidence coming towards me. The CJ always jumped at the worst times. Not once did I have 5 free seconds to throw evidence and the scale. Everytime I was running back for more evidence when this happened. I never walked into a gavel which helped, and I actually did pretty good when the scale was low. Which had always been the hardest part for me. You just have to do the walk back jump foraward technique in a faster motion.

This round took 20 minutes and 14 seconds! Maybe it could have been faster if I got my 6. : (

So the whole CJ took 51 minutes.

Jenny asked me to post this. It wouldn't fit with mine.

Wow! I am likeee in shock and speechless right now. This solo was the only solo when I wasn't sure of myself and I still had that feeling that I'm not ready because I've done about 5 practice runs and would always get 3 or 2 toons seated =[ Well today PAUL here HAD to push push push me into doing it same day as him. Not to mention during my scale round he kept whispering and yelling at me to hurry up =/

Anyways, back on subject. It took me 2 attempts to solo the CJ. My first time I went in the same time Paul did but I only seated 3..so I x'ed myself outta Toontown and went right in again. Thank goodness I had more than enough SOSes and unites to try again. Thanks Nate and Nadia for escorting me =] ..

The cogs round went amazingly smooth for me both times. I used a lot of my gags (gag up alls) because I was saving my SOSes and unites just in case I choked in the cannons again. It took me about 25 minutes to do the cogs round.

The cannons were my biggest fear/worry/nightmare. This round basically decides weather you win or lose this solo..and I realy STUNK at it. Everytime I went in for a practice I would always get 2 or 3 despite the advice/stradegies of many that tried to help me learn.

Finally, after seating 4 toons in the jury..i could breathe again. Now it's moving on to the scale. I knew now it was an automatic victory..it's just a matter of time and bad luck with disconnections? I used Vick's "tri-something" method for far away and close away. The scale round took around 40 minutes for me. I hope I don't have to explain what I did in the scale round because others have explained it about 50 times already so yah..

It was originally going to be in 1 post.. but it wouldn't fit because of pictures.. so I tried to hurry and post it so no one would post in between them. There was no time to tell her to post it herself, because it does not fit.
