Question Help!! I'm confused. Please explain!

OK...I just want to get everyone's opinion on this. It really bothered me. I know this is a game, but "toons" get mean and rude...Well, I'm an adult even and it bothers me. I love TT, but give me a break.

So, I had gone to CFO. Finally getting the hang of the crane. Not a pro, but I understand it better. Everyone started off throwing goons. I just hate how much time it takes me to get it from swaying back and forth. So, after a couple of goons I picked up a safe and just waited for the time to throw it. I was doing great...atleast I thought so. I was getting about 2 safes per a turn. Good for me since this is my first toon in there. Anyways, at the end this toon keeps telling me "Please throw a goon". The whole time during the dancing. Was unsure what was going on. Cheering for all other toons was great, except when it was me. I get the toons that are talking back and forth. We actually got done rather quickly.

I had gone in a time before where the toons were doing the same thing I was, which is where I got the idea. So...am I the bad toon because I didn't throw goons except the first minute or so? I was hitting him well with the safes. I am just a little confused on how people can get so mean on a game. I love the toons that say "Have fun!" after I apologize for a bad gag. Atleast I know that we all have the same idea. Anyways, a little feedback would be great. I am still learning, but obviously everyone has a different idea on how to play this GAME!

That's confusing, unless you go him a helmet. Otherwise, I don't see the problem, safes do more damage. If it bothered them so much they could have thrown their own goons.

Don't worry, you're not a bad toon at all. Everyone has their own playing style and preferences. With more experience on the crane, you'll learn what works best for you. Some people may agree with it and others may not. Don't let it get you down though.

My opinion though - it is better for the team if you continue throwing goons throughout the CFO instead of just waiting to use a safe. Your main goal should be to get/keep him dizzy as much as possible. Not throwing goons means he won't get dizzy as quickly and leads to him putting helmets on and sending more goons out. That leaves more goons running around, making it difficult for stompers to keep up with them and can make toons go sad easier. (I hope I understood this correctly)

Just a tip - instead of holding your safe so you can get a shot in quickly, just position both of your safes right next to your toon whenever you get on the crane. That way they're right there for you to pick up and use quickly.

Arrow My two cents..

I think if you are just there holding a safe then you are not helping. The goons are only disabled for a short period of time. In that time they should be picked up and throwed at the CFO and you you can't do that you really shouldn't be on a crane. Its the goons that count not the safes. I have done many of CFO's where only goon were used and it goes just as quick. Just learn to control your magnet it is the only way to get better.

Since I wasn't there, I don't really know what happened. I imagine that if you were throwing safes when the CFO was not dizzy, plenty of toons would correct you and tell you to throw a goon. If it was a matter of everyone else keeping him dizzy with their goon throwing, you waiting with a safe ready wouldn't have been a problem. If it the periods of time between the CFO being dizzy were seeming to be long, then yes you should attempt to throw a goon. The worst thing that would happen is you would miss, but you would also be getting more practice doing it. Bottom line though, if everyone danced at the end, it really didn't matter and who cares what anyone says.

A few ideas I have...

You can throw goons the whole time, they will still do damage even when he's dizzy and others are throwing safes. It's great practice with craning as well.

As someone else said, keep that safe nearby so you can reach it quickly when he does get dizzy.

If you are holding your safe, ready to throw when there are goons running around, you are better off throwing goons so there aren't many running around with their lights ready to hit everyone.

It's not easy to get the hang of the crane. I didn't try it until I was an upper Loan Shark and now love it!

Cool Thanks!

I understand now...but one thing I would like to say in my defense is I wasn't giving him helmets. But, you know...everyone's advice was very helpful. Thanks! I like coming here and seeing what everyone else does. Thanks again, you guys are great. Now I have a better idea of how to do things.
