Stunners!!!

Hi,
I have been doing a lot of CJs for the past couple of days and I am getting extremely annoyed with some stunners. They don't keep to a particular set of cogs...be is 2, 3 or 4. They run around trying to stun all the cogs but it doesnt work. They leave their designated toons unstunned and try stunning the cogs other toons are working on. It makes the CJ go by less smoother. I believe some of you guys trying to stun all the cogs (but failing miserably) to be on this forums. So please take heed and stun only your designated cogs instead of running around trying to get all the cogs. Not only are you interfering with another person's pattern, you are leaving the other cogs unstunned. Believe me doing only your cogs will bring a lot more timers and make the CJ faster. Thanks.

Wonderful post. It seems that alot of toons think running up and down the line makes them a good stunner. They are miserably mistaken. They get in the way, waste their evidence as well as the evidence of the toons they are interfering with and it also makes them a bad team player.

well i don't agree keeping to only 2 cogs. I personally can do 4 without one waking up and starting to throw their evidence. But i want toons to just keep stunning their own set of cogs...it doesn't matter how many they are able to do.

For me, 3 cogs is a good number to keep stunned. I can do 4 if I have to. Two cogs is a waste of time because you have to wait for them to wake up before you can hit them again and you may end up wasting evidence.

Ok, lets see....For starters, I can succesfully stun all the cogs(As long as there isnt a 9th or 10th) and I dont gt in anyones way. I also get mad when people wont let me stun 4. If I can keep them stunned, why not let me? Make someone else pan and we have more scalers. But you will run into those people that will get in your way, but you just have to deal. Try sayinf "You should choose a different cog" "Ill get this one" etc. to try to make them stay.

Stunning

I personally like to stun (3) cogs. The problem I have is what happened last night.
There was a total of 4 stunners on 2 cogs each, as soon as a 10 point toon-up was acheived they took off and went panning and left me to stun as many as I could. Even though we were able to get 9 toons on the jury and it did not take very long to win, I think that this strategy of running off to stun afetr a toon-up is not the best. If you say you are going to stun, then stay at stunning until the end. It works, I have 2 toons maxed on law and this strategy does work best.

I stun 4, times it perfectly so when I'm done hitting the 4th, the first is waking up to hit him.

I absolutely agree. If they go scale and leave the cogs unattended the cogs will throw more evidence onto their side of the pan making the timer almost useless.
