Throwing a safe?!

I have virtually no problem throwing goons and almost always hit the CFO but when it comes to safes I always come up short. Any tips as to when to let go of the control button and other stuff that will improve my safe throwing skills? Thanks!

If you can get a straight pull towards the CFO, I just think it is best to release Ctrl just before the magnet starts coming back your way. I havn't gotten much of a chance to crane, so I'm not exactly positive, but I think thats preaty much true for other wierd angles... I'll see if others can explain it better...

It's very hard to explain. Are you talking about when the CFO is stunned, and we are all throwing safes at him for more damage? Or when he has a safe for a helmet and you are trying to knock it off?

Cool Tips on the c.f.o.

O.k. i will tell you because I am a robber baron level 22. So after you did the cogs and he goes into the next room. So you get on a crane. (that's my job everytime) And you press a control button to pick up a safe when he is disey

But you're crane line is all wiggily. So you need to bring the safe to the center, than wait for the line to stop jigging. Then you continue to hold down the control button and you also push the up arrow. And when the safe is about to cover his head or upper chest you let go.

Thanks for the help, but I know the basics and how to control the crane. The problem is I can't seem to hit the CFO when he is dizzy, with goons it's fine, but
the safe always comes up short.

if ur talking bout when hes stunned and ur just doing more damage. then i cant help u with that.
but if ur tlkig bout when he has safe on head and ur trying to knock it off. u cant do it from certain angles. he has to be iether facing u. or turned backwards. or it wont work at all.

Try using a lower screen resolution like 800x600 if your having problems with throwing safe's. I'm not sure why, but it works, even if you don't have lag.

Wow! What a difference this makes! Virtually no lag and the game was so smooth! I was amazed. Only negative is that I couldn't glitch in the the green ooze room with the moving thingies . I haven't done the CFO this way yet but I'm sure it will be alot better. Thanks a million Doc! I have to warn other people, this makes TT alot smaller. I'm going to try the other, larger ones and see which one works best.

Before you thank me try it in CFO. It did work for me and a couple of other people who tried it though. It especially helped knocking safes off. At high resolution I was getting a lot of those klunk sounds like it wasn't hitting hard enough to knock the safe off. Results were much better lowereing the resolution. I also think it helps get a higher count when you throw a goon. You'll have to try it yourself and see what results you get. Good luck.
