ubers and things we are working on

I just wanted to make a comment. Today I was playing w/ a SF and I'm a 55 and she is 110. She was trying to help me finish a task. An uber(and very nice one) came with us. My SF kept telling him "this is not what you are looking for." She wasn't as nice as I thought she could be but she has been playing for a very long time and knew he was an uber. But we were working on my task. I kept telling him that " that i was helping a friend" and he said he was looking for more merits. He later understood what we were doing and finished w/us. Thank you.

The reason I'm posting this is to let ubers know it isn't always because you are low lps but because we don't want to waste your time coming w/us if you are looking for merits, cogbots or jury notices. I know alot of toons don't know that you are ubers and don't know how to look. I wouldn't of known w/out my SF. But please forgive us and know when we don't let you go w/us or tell you this is "not what you are looking for" it is because we are working on something that won't help you.

But know this if I'm playing my 115 or my 55 I'm more then ready to run w/you if I think it can help you.

I've heard of a phrase that signals to other players that you are looking for a short run as opposed to a long one. Some people know that "I need more suit parts." means that you don't want to go through the whole factory for merits. It was nice of you to warn the other player about your intentions instead of going on to fight the foreman without him/her.
