The most memorable VP Run.

I would like to thank those of you who went into the VP with me, at about 4:50 PM, Central. It was my most memorable VP Run; all of you wer so kind, caring, and experienced. It was hard to not go in there again!

The first round, for those of you who weren't there, went okay. My newly required Hypno-Goggles missed- and so did my 10$ Bill. We managed to get through, with only a few laff points lost. The second round went perfect. My lure gags all worked, and so did my drop gags. Everyone was very supportive of my gag choices, and when something would go wrong, they would reply with, "No worries!" or, "Let's catch the next one." I really appreciate the fact that they didn't bring me down, as other Toons do. The final VP round went a lot longer than planned. We had some great pie throwers, but sometimes, they gave toonups for those Toons who were down to thirty something laff. At the end, we wound up winning, and something really made me smile. A small, pink cat with maxxed gags said, "Toons of the world, unite!" One by one, every other toon did the same. Soon, the area around us was filled with, "Toons of the world, Unite!" speech bubbles.

The little pink (light purple?) cat was Roxy, who just plain rocks. My other super-tight buddy on that run was the invisible yet nonetheless awesome Miss Wonderbump. I can't say enough good things about either of them. I trust them utterly and with either one of them by my side I will fight any cog, anywhere, anytime.

It was the first good VP run today for us. We had to bail out on several that went bad for various reasons -- mostly too many random low-laffers in the groups (even a 19-point bunny! "You've got to be kidding!" "Yikes"!). I'll happily take a few level 1's along (hey, we all started out there!), but 4 or 5 is just too many. (By bail out I don't mean we ditched the young'uns on the elevator or during a fight -- we'd never do that. Between stages we agree as a group to either move forward or try again.)

It was a pleasure working with you, and I'll look for you when I'm trying to fill an elevator.

Cool...I'm the little pink (purple) cat. I'm glad you had fun. We aim to please and help each other out!!! Capt. Tubby Gigglezilla & Miss Wonderbump are a couple of my closest Toonie friends. They are AWESOME in every sense. See you in the Sellbot Factory!

That was my.... fith time that day? I need like 2100 Cogbucks and 800 Merits, so I figured that the 800 was easier. Heh heh.

I can't thank you enough for running the factory so many times with me, even though you don't need the merits. You know I'll be there for you in a heartbeat when your merit target makes you say 'Yikes!'.
