What's up with the CFO!

I chose this forum because the cog hq isn't really that busy with people looking at it.

Anyway, more and more lately.... have you noticed that once you get a safe on the CFO's head, later on, a bug appears. A safe would appear on the CFO's head. And whenever you would knock it off, another safe lands on his head 10 secs later, making it very hard to win. And have you noticed that knocking off those "safes that automatically land on his head" are easier than knocking off regular safes on his head.

It's been happening ALOT lately, it happens whenever a TOON knocks a safe on his head, and then the CFO would put it on himself.

Also, I want you to take notice of when this bug happens too long...

Have you ever seen a goon this large and that it takes away 30 laff in a CFO? And boy, it's hard to disable, since it's so big.

I haven't....

Well, I'm getting annoyed by this bug. It's hard for me nowadays to do a successful CFO without encountering this bug!

I'm not sure; aren't the red goons usually that big? Maybe it's the fact that your small toon is, well... small?

I haven't been in the CFO lately, so I couldn't tell you. But I'll keep an eye out for the bug.

You are on a small task. Those big goons come out the longer you stay in the cfo. They are the biggestones, but they look much bigger because you are small.

I got a PM saying this wasn't a bug....And yes, the 30 laff goons are actually giant size. Even regular size toons have a hard time disableing those goons. Apparently, it takes a looooong time for the giant goons to appear.

The CFO was an hour long, and yeah, we didn't win. I've had CFOs with one other person only that went smoother than this one by far.

I did a CFO tonight on Stinkerbell and it seems like I threw the safe at his head about 20 times before finally getting it off. At the end some toon was stinking me saying don't throw the safe now. I hadn't put it on there in the first place and it took forever to get it off. At least that's how it appeared on my screen. It looked very buggy to me.

i find that after a while (over 30 mins atleast) the CFO keeps generating helemts from mid air. At first i blame it on the craners but then i think .. no way could 4 - 1(me) craners throw safes at him that many times. No idea where he gets em from.

I havnt seen the goons yet (THANKFULLY) does this make soloing alot harder now?

Holy sadness... I think the longest I've been in a CFO run is about 15 mins, by then either have gone sad, won or I had X'd out of the game. Other than that, the longest a CFO should take is 10 mins, and that's pushing it.

I guess I'm spoiled by being friends with great players (Trish McBoo rocks at craning). Next time, clock it, and if it's over 15 mins, if the CFO hasn't turned red by then, you might consider a retreat plan.. Refer to that as plan "B", where the B stands for "Be Gone". Don't get me wrong, if there's a hope of winning, then I say to stick with it. But otherwise, after 15 mins, it's time to retreat.

One bug that I've noticed though, and the way it happens is too specific to be from internet lag.. Usually when the goons come out, things are fine. However as of recent, when the bigger goons come out, it's like they start to come out and then all of a sudden they are in over drive, moving very very fast for about 1 or 2 seconds, then slowing down to regular speed. It's a bit weird because everything else seems to be going just fine (nothing else seems to mimic this behavior), so I'm wondering if it's just me or if something has gone freaky with the CFO.

The CFO's difficulty seems to operate on two variables, time and damage. For example, I once got a group weren't good craners and just weren't damaging the CFO. After about 15 minutes, the CFO was still yellow, and red goons started coming out because we were taking so long. After a while, we started seeing the giant red goons.

It's possible that the safe part is because Disney may have made the CFO harder lately, or it could also simply be a product of time.

Well I don't neccesarily CTRL-ALT-DELETE out I just purposely get caught in the goon's lights, which makes me go sad,but if I CTRL-ALT-DELETE, then, I can't continue with the game.AND,I let it go on for about 30 min. That's why I'm a Number Cruncher Level 5 at 107 Laff!

Unhappy The cheating C.F.O!!!!

One time I went with seven other toons to fight the C.F.O. The cog part was easy but when we got to the cranes everyone died. Then there was one duck (stomper) and me a craner. But then the C.F.O kept geting a helmet right when I knocked one off. Then we got sad and we were sent to the playground.

Yes, I have seen this a lot. When some goons come out, they decide to kick it into overdrive and speed along forward, then slow down to normal speed, or even below normal speed. It's been so bad one time that when a goon came out, it seemed to lunge itself straight into the craner, knocking him off, doing major damage (was a red one).

Strange...
