Ok... we have all been through the factory a billion times now... we know that the gag points offered there are practically nill... Personally I think it is a glitch but, in the mean time the points are very low. Also at the VP battle... after using a whole bunch of lvl6 gags, I end with "18 throw"... so either a glitch or some system of counting I dont understand.

The potential problem I see, is... people without maxxed skills. I dont mean the close to maxxed people that are all lvl6 gags and just need a few more points or whatever, I mean the ones that clearly need more gags. The thing is, everyone is at cogHQ and they want to be too, this is great, it is alot of fun, but they are not gaining skills.

It is evident to me that it is mostly about time. It takes me about 2.5hours, total to get suit pieces and gather a group and beat the VP and get more gags afterwards... I do this a few times a night.... A person that needs skills can do the same thing... probably successfully, and get new cog levels, but ultimately not improve except for thier playing skills. In the same time... a small group hopping buildings could get ALOT more skill...

I guess what I am trying to say, is that it seems there will be alot of people getting thier "cog promotions" and never getting to the top of thier gag tracks. Ultimatly stunting thier own delevopement, spending the time on a title that doesnt matter, and only shows on the walk to the elevator.

(This would all be fixed if they correctly counted exp pounts in the factory or the VP battle)

This morning I was getting my 1300 merits.I never went near the factory,in fact,nowhere near Sellbot HQ.In DDL it was all 5 story sellbot buildings in Funnyfield.My friend needed some 5+ story cog buildins and merits for her The Mingler.I needed 140 cogs in DDL,some 3+ story buildings.I got 278 for the first one and 310 for the next one.I still need more.

Wow that post really takes a person back! They have since added a 2x multiplier to gag skills in the factory, and dropped the cog levels and made a dozen other changes.

That post also makes reference to broken suit pieces.

Not much after that we found out that hollywood only went to 12, and you had to get 10000 merits... aftr that you still got no promotion, just 12 still and another 10000 merits.

I quit playing for a year and a half aftr that I was so upset... I had waited a long time for HQ then no big finish?

They have fixed that now, I am ok If they would only have a big version of the factory!!
