Happy Birthday Lawbot HQ!
Lawbot HQ has been out for one year! Today is the first aniversary of when it came out on test. Here is what I remember:
Test had been down for matinence for more than a week. Many of us didn't think that this was Lawbot HQ because it said "matinence" instead of "update". There were also a couple of people who hadn't been booted from test and had managed to stay on throughout the entire matinence. On April 4, they were finally booted.
I had planned to wake up early when Lawbot HQ came out on test, but since it never said that it was going down for an update, I wasn't able to. I was getting ready to start my homeschooling for the day when I decided to check TTC quickly. When I got there, I noticed that I had a new PM. It was some random person telling me that I should change my profile picture, which was a picture of my toon standing outside the closed entrance to Polar Place. I had no idea what he meant, so I emailed him back saying that I was planning to change it when Lawbot HQ came out. I then clicked New Posts.
There were tons of threads saying that Lawbot HQ was out. I was so surprised, I didn't know where to start. I told my mom how special this was, and I immedeately logged on to test. However, there were so many people trying to get on, that test had extremely low bandwidth. I eventually got on and managed to get my gags, and get through the packed playground and street to Lawbot HQ. I was only able to take a brief look around and hear the new music before I discoed. It was now so laggy that I wasn't able to get back on for another half-hour, during which I checked up on some of the Lawbot HQ posts on ttc. When I got back on, I managed to get into the DA offices. Finding a group was no problem, but I ran right into the first laser field, and panicked when the green squares turned red. Not knowing what to do, I ran into the skulls and triggered the holographic skelecogs, which made me go sad.
The second time I went in, I managed to get to the end of the first level. There was only one set of cogs per floor, they added the second set of skelecogs later. When we defeated them, we danced on the first floor and were awarded only one jury notice. One of the people on our team left after that, and we didn't continue to the second floor.
After that, I had to do my schoolwork, later I was able to check out the Chief Justice before they brought test down for matinence. It was a very fun day.
Below are screenshots that I took of Lawbot HQ on test exactly 1 year ago. I wish I had taken more. Keep your eyes peeled. You may be interested to see what's the same and what's totally different.
