Still amused

The other day a (non-sf) friend and I were going through the usual elevator shuffle. Some dog, a HW kept saying 'Please go away' and all the cog phrases one after another - just being annoying.

My friend walks up to him and says 'Don't be mean!' and the dog told him to 'please go away' again. Finally my friend stinked him and the dog said 'Thanks!' and it just struck me as funny when my friend said 'You're Welcome!' It was definitely not friendly, but it seemed like it in a way.

Just so this is clear - my friend is 100+ laff, but has a Telemarketer suit and I was a Name Dropper at the time so it wasn't as if we haven't fought the VP before.

I'm sure this wouldn't provoke a belly laugh in most people, but I'm still amused. I'm often easily amused so don't mind me.

What's hilarious to me is...
When this person has a suit 40+ BUT Has LESS laff then you do.
They stink you, But then you say You need more laff points.
They start spazzing out "Sorry!"You Rock!"

Uber, me, 129 lafer and my SF in front of a cog building. 129 riskies uber, hgops on another building with lots of shuffle.
We do the building. When we get out, the toons at the other building are still shuffling...

Actually that is funny. I hate the stinky phrases. I've never used it. If someone stinks me, I usually say, "Thanks", or "Are you trying to sweet talk me". Or, my favorite..."Likewise, I'm sure."

Yeah. i had some HW lv 50 ubers come and stink me for my lv 21 suit. i dont do any phrases that would be rude. i use "Whatever!" and "Im Bored" or "Im Sleepy" i wish they had a "Boring!" Phrase, but im sure some toons would abuse it.
