Is there a way to "run" once you're inside the vp's office before defeating the first round of cogs? I've found that some toons with higher level suits seem to think it's good sport to bail out on the lower level suits either in the elevator or once they're inside. I've lost all my laffs and gags on 3 different occassions from this happening. I would NEVER bail on lower level toons but I would like to know how to protect myself when I find I've been skunked in the elevator and I'm the only one inside the building.

I've been told to click on the red X to escape but there is no red X on my screen. I don't understand what that means. I've seen some toons with pretty high level suits disappear from the game at the start of the first round and I know they're not sacrificing themselves in order to leave the rest of us high and dry. There's got to be a way to escape without loosing everyting. Can someone fill me in please?

Well, what is your connection type? (dial-up, modem, etc.) Because if you have a modem, try turning the modem off, thus, toontown thinks you have disconnected and makes it so you keep your gags, and your laff.

Umm Idk wut u mean, but here's a tip~
Wut I do in case there r high levels, I hold the "Hop off" button BUT I DON'T let go, and at the last second, when someone bails, just let go of da mouse. Hope that helpz!!

Alt-F4. I've heard that once the SOS toon starts talking, you lose laff/gags when you Alt-F4; I don't know if that's the exact point, but at least when you're in the elevator and at the beginning of the cutscene, you can Alt-F4 without losing anything.

this is just a tought but can it be that some of them lost there internet ?
I have a few times and always at a real bad time (not saying there is a good time)

The red "x" is on the internet whena picture doesn't show up...
I remember there was a thing to do to exit during battle, don;t remember how to do it.

hehe losing internet happens alot to people when there is more people then there should be in a district.(i should know)Say, if you went on with a black cat named Fireball (me) i lose my internet connection a lot and im really nice in the vps. (what i mean by that is that i helped a buncha 55s in non ccg)
