We make that mistake the first time because we dont know how easy the tasks can be.
Shop for your HQ tasks for DDL. Try for "# cogs anywhere" this can go from 200 to 1000 but it's any cogs. Whatever you do counts into that. It may take visiting shopkeepers to get a task if HQ officers dont have anything appealing or easy. A type of cog is good to. If you VP a lot then pick Sellbots, etc. Avoid all cashbot HQ and high bldgs tasks like they were the plague. Later on once you get your cash suit, try to avoid high cog tasks like lvl 11 and lvl 12 because these are limited to the mint and DA... if you dont VP or CFO regularly. You dont want to go on a stupid mint run for a level 12 per mint. it's nasty. And the small cogs will come out in boss runs when you need these tasks. The ubers will thank you but you wont thank you

I'm not sure if I can SF. I just have to beg my mom to let me do it. If that doesn't work can anyone give me non-SFing tips? |

Well said. I would just like to add...avoid all tasks involving a specific cog. For example, 120 Bean Counters is not a good task to pick. You may see BC's by the hundreds out on the TT streets, but pick the task and they disappear! Grrr!!!

(btw Dont go for tasks for sharks and minglers - VERY different and they'll hardly show up in boss runs or mints etc...)
