Glitch in the Mint?

I've noticed that some of my fellow toons can bypass an obstacle in the mint. I'm still new here so I apologize if the room has a specific name, but it is the room with all the boxes you have to jump around and has one spinning gear in it.

My fellow toons walk up to the toon up barrel, open their books and end up on the platform that I have to work my way around to. I did not know if this was a glitch or if it was something you earned along the way as you got stronger.

If it is a glitch I would love for someone to pm with how to do it. Thanks so much. This web site has been an awesome resource.

Thanks so much for responding. Apparently my significant other is better at researching then I am. I've been on here all morning knowing someone had already posted that info, but could not find it.

For you, maybe. Since I upgraded my processor and added RAM, I can't glitch hardly anything.

There's another glitch - I believe it's in the Coin Mint. That part where the thing moves up and down and then you have to jump over some things that are trying to push you down by the goons (forget what it's called). Anyway, if you wedge yourself in between the wall and the up/down thingy and turn around you can get into the gray and bypass that as well. Just make sure you are far enough away from the wall because the goons can still get you if you're too close. If no one knows what I'm talking about, I'll try to get a pic.
