Late Night SOS Card Shopping!!!

I'm coordinating a late-night SOS card shopping run with a few friends. We are looking for some Professor Petes, Flippy's, and a few other five star cards. If you are interested in "shopping" with us, please let me know! We are thinking about doing it Wednesday night at 9pm Pacific time. I would love to have some TTC friends there with us! Thanks!

Anyone going to bite on this? I'm bringing my cash uber Midnight Cowgirl.

She's stuck right now unable to do much of anything until I can get some good SOS cards as I decided she won't go any further untill she solo's the CFO (or attempts to at any rate ).

Is the timing on this bad or are the card choices too picky? Help!!

What cards exactly? If it's any/all 5 star cards and only those, I'm sure you'll probably find a large gathering when you show up to VP.


Just, which district are you planning to do this in? I personally recommend one that you KNOW is almost always empty of players in SBHQ, so that no randoms are hurt in the process (shouldn't be an issue if everyone is a HW50). The key phrases "I have enough gags." -and- "I need more gags.", in that order could be used if someone wants to make it clear that they are there for the shopping, since SOS cards can be considered gags. Most likely by someone who isn't maxed yet, but wants to let the others know that they aren't a random.


I might also recommend that before boarding the elevator, friends gather on the left side of the elevator in groups, with spare people on the right, so that after the friends get on, whatever space is left over can be filled with the spare shoppers. This, or something like it would help reduce shuffling. (This would work where the next group of friends going on would be on the platform, with the next group on the steps.) This way friends can go, little to no shuffling, and spare shoppers would fill the empty spots. Then after all the grouped friends go, all the others would just hop on. This is, of course, presuming that your shopping gets a lot of guests.

I was informed by my good buddy Miss Slumpy that there was an oversight on the date. Valentine's plans will keep her away from toontown this evening so we are going to try for another time/date.
